Death Battle Prediction: ManBot VS P'andor

Superpowers, often looked upon as a blessing from above, enabling those worthy few granted them the power to fight back against evil, but sometimes they are just as much a curse, trapping those same few in a cage of responsibility. It is often in that acceptance or denial of responsibility that the greatest heroes and villains are made. ManBot, the guilt-ridden hero of Freedom Force, and P’andor the desperate fugitive from Ben 10! In this well made energy clash of caged combatants, who will reign the Victor?

Background:

ManBot

The Year was 1962, in Patriot City, when the wealthy and handsome bachelor, Ted Taylor was driving down the highway on yet another of his many dates that week, enjoying the carefree pleasures of, in his mind, the perfect life.

But as he drove his expensive sports car without a care in the world, suddenly he was struck with what could only be described as a flash of purple lightning that caused him to lose control and crash his car into the nearby woods.

This was Energy X, a powerful form of Cosmic Radiation that has been being used by the Alien conquerors, The Domain, to subjugate all the planets of the known universe.

In an attempt to prevent The Domain from taking over the Earth as well, the alien hero Mentor attempted to steal their Energy X and give its power to the best and brightest of the Human Race.

However, as Mentor made his escape, The Domain shot his ship down, causing The Energy X to scatter and fall randomly onto the planet, resulting in many people like Ted being unexpectedly exposed.

And out of all the People to Be Exposed, Ted easily got the biggest dose of the stuff. His body absorbed So much Energy X that it couldn’t contain it all. Periodically, and without warning, massive amounts of it would build up and surge inside of him, resulting in powerful blasts that would destroy whatever was close by.

Not knowing what else to do, Ted went to see his genius younger brother Tom, who happened to be a Nobel Prize winning scientist, having dedicated himself to the betterment of mankind. After conducting several tests, Tom believed that it was possible to Cure Ted of this ailment, but developing a way to do so would likely take months or longer.

To keep Ted’s Radiation and Energy Leakage in check, Tom offered him a temporary solution, an Exosuit that he had been developing for some time in order to give crippled people back their mobility, which Tom believed had a dense enough molecular structure to contain Ted’s outbursts of volatile energy. Ted however wasn’t too keen on spending months of his life in some ugly, bulky Tincan of a suit.

But as Ted argued against this, suddenly a massive Energy spike built up inside of him, causing a huge explosion to erupt from his body right in the middle of the lab, Killing his poor brother instantly.

Standing over his fallen brother’s body, horrified with grief and guilt at what he had caused to happen through his own selfishness and vanity, the Man Ted once was died as well, and now stood only the heavy and humbled heart of a man stricken with Regret. Tom only wanted to help him, and now his blood would forever stain his hands.

Ted Taylor then put on the suit and swore an oath that until such a time he was cured of his power, that suit would remain on. And seeing himself as less than human for what he had done, Ted declared that until that day, the world would only know him as, “The ManBot.”

Desperate to find redemption to take some weight off his heavy heart, ManBot set out on patriot city where he happened upon a sect of Soviet Agents who had also been enhanced by Energy X. While he tried to stop them, he was no match for their forces by himself and was swiftly frozen by their Cryokinetic Leader, Nuclear Winter.

Thankfully, ManBot was found by a group of other enhanced do gooders like himself. The Strong and Patriotic Minuteman, the Suave Flame Hero, El Diablo, and the very Alien hero who stole the Energy X in the first place, Mentor.

Upon their meeting, the 4 of them teamed up and worked together to topple Nuclear Winter and prevent him from causing….Nuclear Winter, saving the day and sending Sukhov and his men to prison.

In the aftermath, the four of them decided they should join forces permanently, becoming the Founding members of the growing and iconic Superhero Organization, Freedom Force, dedicated to the protection of the innocent and betterment of our world and beyond!

ManBot worked diligently as a member of the team, helping put a stop to countless villains and disasters that might befall the good people of Patriot City, from gangsters, to clones to giant ants and even Minotars. But no matter how much good he did, ManBot never allowed himself to celebrate, still seeing himself as no less than a monster.

This inner pain he had made him particularly fascinating to the AlcheMiss, who took a romantic liking to him, but while his Past self would have jumped at the chance to date someone like her, ManBot denied her at every turn, both because he didn’t think he deserved happiness, but also because he was afraid he may one day hurt her as well.

This would all culminate when the Celestial Being Time Master sought to use ManBots incredible power to destroy the cosmic Celestial Clock and end Time Forever.

Despite Freedom Force managing to stop Time Master, someone needed to remain behind in the Celestial Clock to stabilize the time stream, leading to ManBot making the noble choice to sacrifice himself, remaining in the Clock all alone where he could never hurt anyone again.

That was the plan at least until AlcheMiss, after tapping too heavily into her own power, managed to free ManBot from the Celestial Clock forever so he's back now, hooray.

Although AlcheMiss ended up being corrupted into an unstoppable Chaos god called Entropy that they then had to stop as a consequence of that. And she sacrificed herself to prevent Entropy from destroying reality which was incredibly sad, but hey, we are trying to stick to ManBot here.

ManBot is an incredibly somber individual who often comes off as very deadpan, sarcastic and self deprecating. He has a deep inner sadness about him over what a fool he was in the past and what he allowed to happen to his brother through his negligence. But he’s also a very wise and compassionate hero who seeks to always do the right thing, even at great sacrifice to himself both physically or mentally. Ted has learned a great deal from his experiences helping others though many have told him that he has redeemed himself long ago, he will never be satisfied until he has given 100% all he can to the cause of helping people. Ted had once lived only for pleasure, but as his brother would put it his past self was ignorant to the greatest pleasure of all, the feeling in one's heart when they truly help others, the pleasure of Kindness.

P’andor

In the distant Andromeda Galaxy, there exists an inhabited planet known as Prypiatos, home to the Alien Prypiatosian race. Centuries ago, this planet was considered the Jewel of the entire galaxy, filled with advanced technology, Megacities that filled out Entire Continents and buildings so tall they quite literally scraped the sky. It was one of the most beautiful places one could ever visit.

‘Was’, being the key word there. As the native Prypiatosian’s entered into a massive Atomic war, turning 100% of their planets surface into an Irradiated uninhabitable wasteland.

The majority of the Prypiatosian’s managed to escape this into underground chasms, overtime building them into impressive Subterranean cities, lined with Lead to protect themselves from the Radiation of the surface. These lucky individuals would come to be known as Prypiatosian-As, while the roughly 20% of their population who got left behind would end up Mutated by the Radiation into a highly radioactive Subspecies known as Prypiatosian-Bs.

Prypiatosian-Bs are intensely radioactive life forms that feed on Energy to survive. Their Bodies passively emit intense amounts of Radiation so, in order to protect themselves, the Prypiatosian-A civilization was forced to cut off contact with them, abandoning them to live on the surface in the wastelands of their former society.

NRG Fanart

That is At least until P’andor showed up. As a member of the Prypiatosian-B race, P’andor led a series of small raids into the underground civilization of their Sister race to steal weapons, supplies and technology from them, irradiating numerous Prypiatosian-A civilians to death in the process.

Eventually, P’andor was arrested by the Prypiatosian-A who locked his ass in an Advanced Prypiatosian Containment Suit which would completely contain the radioactive energy his body emits while he faces trial for his crimes.

This would have been the end of P’andor’s story if not for the interference of the Megalomaniacal Osmosian supervillain, Aggregor. Aggregor planned to travel to The Forge of Creation in order to absorb the power of an Infant Celestialsapian, so he can turn himself into a cosmic god.

But before he could do this, he needed to upgrade his own body by absorbing the powers and abilities of peak members of 5 different alien races, to enable himself to survive the journey.

One of these races was the Prypiatosian-B and as P’andor was the strongest member he could find, he was his peak specimen of choice. Aggregor sprung P’andor from prison and held him captive aboard his ship.

But before he could enact his plan, P’andor and the other four prisoners led a revolt against Aggregor, and managed to steal a ship and escape onto the nearby Planet Earth.

Deciding to split up, the 5 Aliens worked to find a way to escape the Earth before Aggregor managed to find them. That was the challenge most of them were presented with, but P’andor had his own problem.

Prypiatosian-B need to feed on Energy to survive, and that Containment Suit he was trapped in allowed for Zero Energy Transference through it. If he didn’t find a way to get free from the suit, he couldn’t Eat and would eventually starve to death. But despite putting a massive bounty out for anyone who could break the suit open for him, the material proved far too tough for any earthly method of opening the thing.

The only one on Earth who could get P’andor outta his suit was one Kevin E. Levin, whose unique matter absorption powers were exactly what was needed to pull this off. But not wanting to just let out a highly radioactive entity out in the open, he refused.

So P’andor assembled a group of powerful criminal thugs to hunt Kevin down and force him to comply. After a lengthy battle and some careful maneuvering from P’andor, he managed to pull it off, tricking Kevin into slicing the suit wide open, P’andor was freed.

And that was a problem. P’andor like all Prypiatosian-B, is incredibly dangerous for any conventional lifeform to be around. The Radiation emanating from his form would eventually kill them and poison the land, water and environment.

P’andor escaped and immediately began draining energy from the surroundings to feed himself. When he was peacefully approached by the Plumbers and had this explained to him, before being offered to be given a ride safely back to his home planet, P’andor refused, liking the energy of this planet more, and not being too keen on going right back to jail. In regards to the safety of the human race, he didn’t care.

Thankfully, Ben 10 and his team Did care, and eventually managed to bring P’andor down once and for all by using Kevins powers against him. I guess it’s true what they say, Payback’s a B*tch. After all was said and done, P’andor was returned to his homeworld to once again try to atone for his crimes.

P’andor’s species was designed to pay symbolic homage to the Soviet Era Chernobyl disaster, and tying into that theme, he and his entire species naturally speak in thick Russian accents and mannerisms. P’andor has a rather cold and brash personality, always feeling as though he gets the short end of the stick, resulting in him becoming Power Hungry in more than just the literal sense. While P’andor is willing to work with and assist others at various points, even when it doesn’t aid him directly, he still puts himself and his own satisfaction above all other concerns, and would not be willing to do something detrimental to himself to aid others. A Rough Rebel with a Chip on his Shoulder, P’andor has spent his entire life trying to get his freedom from whatever prison he sees his circumstances as, and he's not going to be stopping any time soon.

Intellect & Skill:

ManBot

ManBot regularly shows himself as having a very high degree of education, speaking with elevated language and bringing up philosophical or academic comparisons to his own situation. He is a very levelheaded and adaptable hero who is shown to be fast on the uptake in various combat situations, and can easily keep up with genius aliens or godly beings on a regular basis.

Ted has also shown to be an overall fantastic judge of character on multiple occasions, such as when he cleverly deciphered the secret identity and motivation of Mister Mechanical, or when he figured out that the mysterious villain, The Ant, was actually a hero who was being mind controlled, despite having almost no information to go on.

Also, as a career superhero, ManBot has been in quite a large number of scraps before against an even larger variety of foes. He has taken on everything from Dinosaurs to Giant Robots to the occasional Machine Gun Wielding, Nazi Cyborg Gorilla known as Killorilla’s, and still came out on top. Between the first and second game, Ted spent basically an entire year straight fighting off Chaos Wraiths in the Celestial Clock giving him a much higher amount of Combat experience than most Freedom Force members.

P’andor

As an Alien, P’andor is accustomed to Technology up to Level 5 in Ben 10’s tech tier system, while even the most advanced technology we humans have is considered Level 2 under the same system, making him notably smarter than the general population of Earth. P’andor was smart enough to, upon landing on Earth, study and acquire knowledge of the various alien species of the Milky Way Galaxy in case he needed to defend himself, a testament to how he always likes to enter into combat prepared.

P’andor has shown numerous times to be quite wise and manipulative, not only easily assembling his own gang of henchmen with promises of money he didn’t have, but tricking Kevin into freeing him from his armor in the first place despite Kevin knowing full well what was inside.

In terms of actual fighting, P’andor has been in quite a fair number of fights in his villainous career, able to hold his ground against Kevin, Gwen, and a wide variety of Ben’s Aliens. Even Including Big Chill, who should have a big advantage on him due to being able to phase through his attacks, P’andor exploited his heroic need to save people by causing environmental destruction to distract Big Chill and keep him away. That Said, P’andor has also shown to get carried away and brash when fighting, which has led to him getting stomped by much more powerful characters like Aggregor.

Powers:

ManBot

ManBot is an Energy X Enhanced Human who wears a tough mechanical robot suit. His exposure to Energy X has granted him a variety of energy based superpowers that he uses to fight crime and cosmic threats from beyond.

  • Metal Exoskeleton:

ManBot wears a Metal Exoskeleton invented by his genius brother Tom, with the intention of giving crippled people back their mobility. Its bulky structure comes equipped with mechanical limbs that vastly boost Ted’s strength to superhuman levels. Its features include a respirator that filters air like a gas mask, and an incredibly dense Molecular structure designed to prevent anything from passing through. This was likely intended to stop pathogens for the aid of wearers in poor health, but it proved Useful as it manages to keep Ted’s otherwise uncontrollable bursts of Energy X in check. The Thick Metal Plates of the suit vastly increased Ted’s own durability to the point that he is one of the Tankiest members in the entire Freedom Force Organization, able to shrug off both Crushing and Piercing damage from stat relevant foes with total ease. In addition to that the suit makes him highly resistant to Radiation, Extreme Heat and Cold, and even weirder esoteric things like Magical and Psychic attacks somehow. Even numerous powerful Elemental, Radioactive or Energy based Superheroes and Villains have a very hard time dealing damage to ManBot. The Cost to this is this suit weighs a ton and thus seriously hampers ManBot’s mobility.

  • Flight:

At least it did until ManBot eventually learned how to Fly. By channeling his Energy out from his legplates, ManBot generates enough lift to fly, and is able to soar through the battlefield at speeds much more in line with his companions.

  • Energy Projection:

ManBot’s primary attack is to shoot powerful blasts of energy known as Focus Beams. These Blasts are able to destroy wide structures and damage characters on ManBot’s tier.

  • Energy Absorption:

ManBot is also able to absorb Energy in addition to launching it out. ManBot’s energy absorption allows him to passively instantly absorb any Energy attack he is hit with, be it a damaging energy attack from an enemy or even the occasional beneficial energy ability from an ally. With his ability, Energy Leech, ManBot can remotely drain energy out of foes to decrease their stamina, even at a distance of hundreds of meters.

  • Energy Distribution:

More advanced than this is ManBot’s overall control of the energy distribution of his surroundings. Not only can ManBot fire or take in large amounts of Energy, but he can also send it away wherever he wants.

ManBot can empower up to 4 or more of his own Allies at once, increasing their power and health by redistributing his own energy.

He also is able to use this ability to pump tons of energy into nearby objects causing them to literally Detonate into a large explosion.

  • Energy Well:

The Reason ManBot is able to do all of this is due to the massive Well of Energy X Inside of him. Ted got the highest dose of the stuff by a country mile, which was the reason Time Master, a Multiversal Cosmic Being, sought him out to destroy the Celestial Clock, something Time Master was not powerful enough to do alone.

Ted has a Literally Infinite amount of Energy X inside of him, giving him an effectively endless amount of Energy to use in battle without any risk of running dry. This puts ManBot’s potential above that of even the most cosmic beings in his series like Time Master and Entropy. According to Mentor “Entropy is capable of wielding unimaginable power, but even she has her limits. But there is one (ManBot) who is more powerful, one who has No Limits.”

And this was seen with Entropy as well, who despite being a Multiversal being herself who could even beat Time Master, could not prevent the Multiverse from fading away without the aid of Ted’s Energy Well.

  • Energy Surge:

This leads into ManBot’s final and most dangerous ability, The Energy Surge. By Releasing his restraints, ManBot releases his built up Energy’s true potential, creating a massive Explosion off his body that, while leaving himself relatively unharmed, wipes out everything near him, collateral damage be damned.

While the Surges Area of Effect is typically only a few city blocks in diameter, it hits with Literally Infinite Attack Potency, destroying anything around him.

The Surge proved this when it managed to bring down Entropy herself in only a single shot, weakening her to the point Alchemist was able to take back control.

This is the same Entropy whose power was great enough that her mere existence was erasing the Multiverse from Reality, Past, Present and Future.

P’andor

Something important to note, during the events of the story, Ben’s watch scanned P’andor’s DNA and granted Ben access to a new alien form based on the Prypiatosian-B species, who Ben would dub NRG (Pronounced Energy). As NRG is the exact same species and has more appearances and showings than P’andor overall, I will be attributing any feats and abilities NRG showcases as something P’andor could also do. While it is true that the Omnitrix rendition of any species is stated to be a physical peak example of said species, equivalent to a human elite athlete for their kind, it should be noted P’andor is also a peak member of his own species, as this was the very reason Aggregor sought to kidnap him specifically rather than another Prypiatosian-B, despite P’andor being in prison and therefore more difficult to get. As such any differences in physicality between P’andor and NRG should be negligible.

  • Containment Suit:

The Prypiatosian-B Containment Suit is a piece of Level 3 technology designed to contain members of the Prypiatosian-B species, both for capturing and detaining them, or more commonly, for allowing them to interact with beings of other species without poisoning them. The suit has a standard issue Universal Translator device built into the center console allowing the wearer to communicate with someone of any race.

Whatever the material of these suits is, it allows for absolutely Zero Energy Transference through the material, completely containing any and all Radiation within the suit itself, and repelling any type of energy that tries to enter through. One Cannot Drain or Absorb Energy through the material either way, It resists all Magical effects to the point Gwen couldn’t even read there was a being inside of it, and even beings who are completely Intangible are not able to phase through this substance.

Which can also be a bit of a problem as this Alien Metal also happens to be easily one of the most Durable Substances in the entire Ben 10 franchise.

Seriously, It almost doesn’t matter what you try and strike this material with, It just shrugs it off without even the most microscopic scratch, dent or crack.

It is perfectly resistant to Extreme temperatures of Heat and Cold to the point even some of Ben’s most powerful Fire and Ice Aliens like Swampfire and Big Chill have no luck melting it or turning it brittle.

In Ben’s NRG Form, his Armor was durable enough to tank attempts to crush it from Ultimate Kevin 11.

In this state, Kevin was strong and durable enough to damage and endure the strongest attack from Ultimate Echo Echo.

This same attack earlier, was able to Contain an explosion that would have destroyed an entire Planet.

This isn’t even inconsistent, as another Prypiatosian-B named Agent Leander, reportedly survived an assault from Feral To'kustar’s in the Null Void. To’kustar are a race of incredibly powerful Space Giants created in Cosmic Storms.

Ben’s To'kustar, Way Big, was able to overpower and Destroy the Incursion Conquest Ray in a beam struggle. And The Conquest Ray Can and Has violently destroyed entire planets in one shot before.

Heck, Ultimate Way Big was tough enough to get into a prolonged pitched battle with the Extra Dimensional God Dagon, who could reality warp 2 different Universes simultaneously.

Given that Ultimate Humungousaur was unable to beat an army of 100 base Humungousaur’s, one could reasonably come to the conclusion that Way Big Downscales to about 1/100th of Ultimate Way Big’s Power, and that still can’t overcome the durability of this armor.

The only thing that has ever been able to penetrate these suits is Taydenite, a rare Alien Crystal Material, and the hardest substance in the known Universe. All that said, despite the massive amount of Defense this suit provides, It is still designed as a containment suit to repress the powers of his species, and thus, wearing it comes at the cost of P’andor’s larger array of powers. That said there are still a handful of things he can do in this suit.

  • Extreme Heat Aura:

P’andor is able to raise the temperature of any part of his armor to an absolutely insane degree, able to completely melt people into goop with a single touch.

This attack can also damage characters like Bivalvan, whose Clamshell like hide can endure Nuclear Explosions.

  • Energy Beams:

He can also use a projectile attack, able to fire powerful radioactive energy beams from his face through those distinct eye holes in the suit.

These Beams carry the same destructive potency of P’andor himself and are hot enough to instantly melt Metal into Lava.

  • Eruption:

Speaking of Lava, P’andor can also channel heat underground and make lava erupt from the Earth around him.

He can use these for massive Lava flow attacks as well as remotely making the ground melt as an immobilizing trap. That said this is far from comparison to the True P’andor.

  • Natural Form:

In his natural form, P’andor is a true force of nature, a being of pure radioactive energy, able to morph and shift his form in pretty much any way he wishes.

He also passively gives off massive amounts of Radioactive energy from his body, enough to turn whole town’s Uninhabitable just by walking around. Radiation causes damage to organic being’s Tissue and DNA, preventing their existing cells from performing necessary bodily functions and new cells from even being formed properly at all, resulting in horrific deterioration and death.

  • Flight:

Without his heavy armor weighing him down, P’andor is capable of effortless levitation and  flight and gains a massive speed boost relative to his previous form.

  • Intangibility:

The greatest defense of the Prypiatosian-B race is their complete and total Intangibility, able to phase through walls and have physical attacks harmlessly pass through their body without doing any damage.

  • Energy Beams:

P’andor can also now fire his standard energy beams from any part of his body rather than just his face.

  • Energy Sensing:

His species also has the innate ability to sense nearby sources of Energy in order to quickly find a meal. The Stronger the reserve of Energy is, the more tasty they seem.

  • Energy Absorption:

This Leads into their last and most famous ability, the power to consume Energy. P’andor can absorb any type of energy into himself. Energy Blasts, Electricity, Radiation and even Mana, you name it, and use it to make himself stronger.

This Energy Absorption works at a rapid pace, once he got his hands on the Source, P’andor was able to completely drain a Nuclear Reactor of power in seconds. Ben later used his NRG form to Eat a Uranium Power Core the Kraaho were going to use to flood the Earth with Lava.

Feats:

ManBot

DC/Durability:

  • ManBot is very often portrayed as having impressive superhuman strength even among his fellow superhero peers. He’s shattered massive sections of underground caverns with just a punch, and states that his armor makes him one of the few Freedom Force members that could survive a resulting Cave-in.

  • He can rip Streetlights outta the ground to use as clubs, lift and throw large heavy objects like Cars or Boulders, Punch people clear across entire City Blocks, and destroy large buildings with his strikes.

  • But of course, the greatest way to assess how powerful ManBot is is through scaling him to the villains he has been able to best. ManBot is fully capable of battling any of the various powerful villains Freedom Force regularly fights, Including Nuclear Winter, who was able to create a large snowstorm over an entire Cuban village.

Or how about Red Sun, whose Flame Elementals are capable of burning down the entirety of Patriot City. Beyond that however would be the Greek God Pan, who was able to casually lift an entire island into the sky and float it over this same city as his base.

Based on the shot of the Island in the comics, and accounting for the fact it was shown to be floating above cloud level in game, this Island would have a diameter of 3.8 Miles and, assuming a composition of Basalt, a mass of 1,773,479,000,000,000 KG. Given Pan was able to move this at comparable velocity to the Freedom Flyer, he must passively be able to output roughly 13 Gigatons of TNT.

And any powerful Freedom Force Member is able to physically fight and endure hits from him, ManBot being one of the most physically powerful and tanky.

Speed:

  • In terms of physical running speed, ManBot is one of the slowest characters in the game, having a canonical agility rating of Klutz, he is somewhat below the speed of an average human and tends to lag behind on missions with his teammates, however he does make up for this in certain aspects.

  • For Example, with his much faster Flight Speed, ManBot is able to keep pace with other flying heroes like El Diablo, who was able to keep up with 1960s jet aircrafts and shoot them down in a dogfight, giving him Subsonic Flight Speeds.

  • Secondly, in terms of Reactions, Man-Bot is able to block attacks from and score hits on other comparable heroes and villains, including Bullet, a Speedster hero who is stated to be able to “Run Faster Than Lightning.”

As Man-Bot is fully capable of taking on and defeating evil duplicates of Bullet, as well as a bunch of villains who can score hits on the Real Bullet, he too should be able to react to the Massively Hypersonic Lightning speed.

General:

  • Is a Founding Member of Freedom Force.

  • Defeated Nuclear Winter, Shadow, Mr. Mechanical, Time Master and Entropy.

  • Saved All of Reality from Certain Doom, Twice.

  • Became Sovereign over all of Time at one point.

  • At the End, I think he found Peace within himself.

P’andor

DC/Durability:

  • Members of the Prypiatosian-B species are regularly portrayed having impressive super strength, able to stop large speeding vehicles with their bare hands overpower large squads of various alien species and cause large explosions with their attacks.

  • He has been able to match and overpower numerous powerful foes throughout the Ben 10 franchise, including Kevin, Gwen and multiple members of the same species of some of Ben’s physically Strongest aliens such as Swampfire, Humungousaur and Water Hazard.

  • Notably, as NRG, Ben was able to get into a battle with the infamous alien bounty hunter Sunder and damage him with his attacks.

Later that same episode, Sunder was able to get into an all out even Brawl with Ultimate Cannonbolt, which is crazy Impressive as just Baseform Cannonbolt was able to overcome the Durability of The Great One.

The Great one is a giant building-sized alien Tick that drinks in the nutrients of entire Planets until they literally explode.

Yes, this creature regularly tanks being on the surface of a violently exploding planet. The surface of the Earth has an area of 510.1 Trillion m², meanwhile, based on its size The Great One has a surface area of about 520 m², meaning it effectively survived 1/980,961,538,461st of this blast. Given it takes roughly 53 Zettatons of force to destroy The Earth, that means The Great One needed to endure a force of over 54 Gigatons of TNT.

Speed:

  • Generally speaking, P’andor and other’s of his kind are rather slow and lumbering when trapped in their bulky containment suits, not even able to run as fast as human form Ben Tennyson. However he does have his moments.

  • In Short bursts, Members of this race have shown incredibly fast reactionary speed that allows them to move super fast. As NRG, Ben was able to intercept a Lightning Attack from Ultimate Kevin 11 in order to protect Alan.

In another instance, NRG was able to fight and score hits on 10 year old Ben Tennyson in his Heatblast form.

Even early into the original series, Heatblast was able to outpace the Megawatts, electrical aliens that travel as a mass of Lightning.

  • In his natural form, P’andor is much faster than his normal Movement speed, perfectly able to keep pace with rather fast aliens like Big Chill, who kept up with a vehicle traveling over 300 MPH and could easily dodge Missiles.

General:

  • Is the most dangerous member of his own race.

  • Escaped from Aggregor on 2 different occasions.

  • Defeated Kevin Levin, Gwen Tennyson, Jetray, Water Hazard and The Incursions.

  • Became a Crimeboss.

  • Is the sample alien for his own race in the Omnitrix.

Weaknesses:

ManBot

ManBot’s armor makes him highly resistant to a lot of different attacks, but one thing it definitely cannot protect him from is Electricity. His Metal suit is basically just a giant conductor making any electric based attack ironically even More effective on him than if he wasn’t wearing it.

Ted’s other big weakness is his heroic self sacrificing nature. Ted for the most part hates himself, and is dedicated to doing the right thing above all else, which has led to him putting himself in catastrophic danger at the drop of a hat countless times.

P’andor

P’andor’s species has two notable weaknesses, the first of which is extreme cold. Despite his armor normally protecting him from such a thing, direct exposure to cold causes the Heat based P’andor serious pain and makes using many of his abilities more difficult.

The more telling Weakness P’andor has is being drained of his Energy. When Kevin was able to take on the properties of Carbon Rods, he was able to drain off P’andor’s access Energy, weakening him until they could recapture him in his armor.

Battle:

Narrator: The Sun shone brightly down on Patriot City on a relatively uneventful summer day. All was peaceful as ManBot, one of the great heroes of Freedom Force, walked ever vigilant on his daily patrol through the city. The concern of harming others ever present in his mind, ManBot opted to choose the relatively deserted industrial section on the outskirts of town for his patrol grounds, to minimize the potential damage in case something happened. But as the hero scanned for trouble, suddenly he heard a loud explosion ring out from about a block ahead of him.

ManBot started advancing fast, but cautiously, towards the sound as he activated the communication device in his ear.

“ManBot to Freedom Tower, There seems to have been a small explosion at one of the buildings near my position, I’m heading there now to investigate” He said over the intercom.

“Reading you loud and clear ManBot, it seems like there’s been a break in at Mr. Mechanical’s old secret hideout. Mechanical himself is still incarcerated, but still, do tread carefully.” He heard Minuteman respond from the monitor back at base.

“You don’t have to tell me twice” ManBot quickly responded as he reached Mechanical’s old lair, noticing a large hole blasted through the outside wall.

‘I know Mechanical is a rather Eccentric Architect, but somehow I feel that’s not supposed to be here’ ManBot thought as he cautiously walked through the hole into the building. The building was dark and silent, save for the sound of large metallic footsteps as ManBot made his way through the structure, until he found himself at the entrance to a big room labeled Armory, where a lot of noise was coming from.

ManBot Sighed, “Ofcourse”, he said as he was about to make his way in there to bust this scavenger when the split second before he was in front of the door a Gigantic laser beam blasted out from the room, causing ManBot to hit the deck to avoid it.

“No.” ManBot heard someone say as he glanced into the room. He saw what looked like a large man in a metal suit resembling a boiler, holding one of Mechanical’s experimental weapons. What interested him the most was smoke seemed to be coming off of his suit from the blast, as if this person had fired the weapon on himself.

P’andor grunted in frustration as he tossed away the 5th useless weapon he found before picking up another device resembling a pistol. He pointed it at his chest and it fired a volley of dozens of yellow energy blasts but each one deflected off him harmlessly. “No.” he said before tossing it aside as well.

“Stop right there, what exactly do you think you’re doing?” P’andor suddenly heard behind him as he turned to see what looked to be a large robot of some kind standing before him.

“And who are You supposed to be, Tinman?” P’andor asked in clear annoyance.

“I Could ask you the same thing.” ManBot shot back, noticing the thick Russian Accent this stranger spoke with.

“I am ManBot, a hero of the Freedom Force organization, this is a restricted area. What are you doing with these weapons? Are you another one of Sukhov’s lackeys?” ManBot accused firmly.

“I know not this Sukhov, now leave me be.” P’andor said, waving him off as he turned back to the weapons stock.

“I’m afraid I can’t do that, these weapons are far too destructive to fall into the wrong hands. If what you say is true then come with me back to the Freedom Tower and we’ll help you however we can.” ManBot offered.

P’andor looked back at him only briefly before going back to what he was doing. “I’ve had more than enough ‘help’ from hero types like you. Now, I’m doing things My Way.” P’andor said as he pulled out a giant threatening drill device.

“Not Happening.” ManBot sternly stated, grabbing P’andor’s wrist.

Outside the building, the sound of a large crash suddenly shot through the skies as ManBot’s body smashed a second hole through the exterior and crashed out into the street out front.

P’andor walked out from the building after him, “It’s not up to you, now I can do this without you, or Through you, what say you, Boy Scout?” he called out in spite.

ManBot stood back up, unharmed by the crash. “Boy Scout? Heh, that’s rich….”

Fight!

“You asked for it Pal!” Manbot said as he charged up his energy and fired a focus beam right at his strange foe. P’andor swiftly raised his arms in front of him as the blast hit him head on, but he shrugged it off like nothing, walking through the smoke before blasting a burning red laser from his face right back at him.

ManBot quickly dodged to the side, and lifted off from the ground, flying through the air as he launched several more focus beams at P’andor’s position. The beams struck P’andor directly, but he didn’t even react as he returned fire with several beams of his own.

“Ha, is that the best you can do?” P’andor taunted as he drove ManBot behind cover with his volley of attacks.

ManBot landed behind an empty dump truck, out of sight from his foe. “You really shouldn’t Push Me” he stated coldly as he reached his hand out and fired yet another beam, striking not P’andor directly, but the abandoned building he stood in front of.

P’andor was suddenly taken by surprise as Mechanical’s Lab violently exploded right behind him, the force of the blast launched him off the ground and he went flying forward into the street.

ManBot, in response, lifted the dump truck he was hiding behind over his head. “This outta cool you down” He said before throwing the truck which collided with P’andor midair with a loud crash, before slamming into the ground with the alien adversary pinned underneath.

ManBot slowly approached, “Are you in the mood to talk now?” he asked, offering him a chance to surrender when suddenly the truck started glowing bright red and began melting away into molten metal, revealing P’andor standing tall beneath, his hands glowing with heat.

“Not bad comrade, I almost felt that.” P’andor said before he ran up to ManBot and began swinging wildly at him with his heat-enhanced arms, the sheer temperature singeing the air itself as they moved through it.

Carefully, ManBot dodged and weaved around P’andor’s attempted punches and grabs, managing to duck under his swing and get behind him where he wrapped his arms around his chassis and pulled P’andor into a bear hug. ManBot lifted him into the air before tackling him to the ground, smashing his face into the pavement with a loud metallic clank.

P’andor did not take kindly to this, as he shot a face beam right into the Earth itself, the force launching both of them through the air dozens of meters until they slammed into the side of a warehouse, ManBot being smashed between the brick wall and P’andor’s armor.

“Arg” ManBot cried out on impact. P’andor on the other hand decided to capitalize on this, running forward several feet before turning around and firing another face beam at him at point blank.

ManBot’s eyes widened as he saw the Blast right before it hit his chest dead on. “Heh Heh Heh” P’andor chuckled as he continued to blast away, but as he looked on he noticed things weren’t going like he planned. ManBot glowed white as P’andor’s beam shrank and was being harmlessly absorbed into his body.

“I’m not playing around any more” ManBot retorted as he fired another focus beam out from his chest. ManBot and P’andor’s respective blasts collided in midair in an intense beam struggle, neither of them willing to give a single inch. As the energy built up, right at the epicenter of the collision a large pink ball of energy rapidly expanded out from the beams before exploding, sending ManBot through the wall he rested against, while launching P’andor into a fire hydrant behind him, knocking it out of the ground. A thick stream of water erupted from where the Hydrant once was, striking P’andor and instantly evaporating against the burning metal, obscuring his vision in steam.

P’andor got up and walked forward, waving his arms in an attempt to clear some of the steam and find his adversary. His vision cleared right in time to see ManBot standing before him holding an entire streetlight in his arms like a club.

“Take this!” ManBot said, bringing the streetlight down on him in a dangerous arc. P’andor however, managed to reach his hands up and catch the light before it hit. He shot another beam through his eye holes and instantly melted the light post, which fell to the ground as a puddle of molten steel, leaving ManBot disarmed. ManBot backed off from the fiery liquid he’d held just moments ago and looked back at P’andor who was emitting an intense aura of heat.

“You’re really getting on my last nerve!” The alien said while reaching out his arm causing a huge flow of Lava to suddenly erupt in front of him, flooding the area where ManBot was standing. The tar of the road caught on fire and the warehouse next to them started sinking as a big smoke cloud riddled with embers created a shadow over the lot.

“You’ll have to try harder than that!” P’andor heard and looked up to see ManBot hovering above his position, having used flight to avoid the attack. “Grr” P’andor growled in annoyance as ManBot suddenly dive bombed his position brandishing his fist.

“Power Time!” ManBot said as he delivered a full powered Wallop directly into P’andor’s face plate, a ringing sound of metal on metal similar to a large church bell echoed through the trees on impact. ManBot Winced as he suddenly felt an intense Pain shoot through his arm. “Arrrgh!” He cried out as he pulled his arm back and clenched his injured fist. ‘What on Earth is this guy Made Of?’ Echoed through his thoughts.

“Heh, Pathetic.” P’andor spouted as he grabbed ManBot’s face and superheated his arm to try and burn him in his grip. Smoke accompanied by a sharp sizzling sound emerged from P’andor’s hand, but ManBot responded quickly as he took off flying, dragging P’andor along with him. “Woah, woah, Waaiiit!” P’andor cried in surprise at being made airborne. ManBot flew hundreds of Meters up at high speed, and then turned around flying straight towards the ground and suddenly stopping just a few stories short of impact. P’andor however, wasn’t so lucky as the momentum forced him to lose his grip and he crashed into the parking lot with enough force to crater it. ManBot hovered in the air looking down at his foe, wondering how to approach this fight now when suddenly P’andor shot another beam hitting the top story of the parking garage they were beside, causing large chunks of debris to rain down on ManBot, crashing into him forcing him to fall back to Earth.

“You’re not getting away this time Flyboy” P’andor said, having gotten back up and using his powers to turn the ground Beneath ManBot to Lava right as he impacted it. ManBot tried to get up, but the Lava hardened fast, gluing him to the ground on one knee. Trying to pull himself out, ManBot looked up just in time to see P’andor run up to him and punch him in the face, before whaling on him again, and again while he was forced to just stand there and take it.

“What were you thinking standing in my way? Do you really expect me to take orders from a sad walking Garbage Can like you?” P’andor shouted while punching before bringing his hands together and slamming them down on ManBot’s form with a large metallic crash.

But as P’andor withdrew his arms ManBot suddenly reached out and grabbed one right as his own body started to glow brightly with an intense purple light. ManBot looked up at P’andor, his eyes glowing white and body flashing brightly as surrounding light rapidly sucked into him. He held his hand out in front of P’andor’s face. “Feel The Full Force of MANBOT!” He said as the Energy Surge overtook him.

“Oh, Chert Poberi…” P’andor mumbled as a gigantic blast of Purple energy engulfed the entire Industrial area they were fighting in with an Earth Shattering Kaboom!

…

As the smoke cleared ManBot stood back up, the Surge destroying the road that held him in place. He quickly looked over to his foe’s position and found that several feet in front of him he laid on the ground, his entire torso was shattered into small jagged pieces, leaving only parts of his limbs and his face plate still in tack.

ManBot sighed solemnly, “I Warned you not to push me, Now I’ve sullied my hands yet again.” he said lowering his head.

“...Oh why don’t you cheer up there ‘Hero’” ManBot suddenly heard as he looked up in shock to suddenly see this intensely bright, glowing red humanoid entity, phasing up from the ground.

“After All…You’ve certainly helped Me!” P’andor said with a hearty chuckle.

“Great Scott, what on Earth ARE You?!” ManBot said in surprise at this creature.

“Well that’s a stupid question. Isn’t it obvious? I….Am FREE!” P’andor screamed as he flew into the skies and bright orange light emanated from his body, illuminating the entire surroundings, right before clouds suddenly darkened in an eerie omen.

ManBot looked up in shock as sirens all over the city started blaring, he suddenly received a transmission from Minuteman.

“By Revere’s Name! ManBot, come in. What’s happening out there? The Geiger Counters at the Freedom Tower are going ballistic! We’ve put out an evac order for all of Patriot City. Fall back now, we need to send in Microwave, or The Ant to..”

“No.” ManBot responded firmly. “I’m sorry Frank, but It was I who opened this ‘Pandora’s Box’, so the burden of shutting it must fall in My Hands, my suit will protect me from the radiation” ManBot said as he began hovering off the ground.
Minuteman after a brief pause responded, “Ted, you mustn’t, the radiation levels are off the charts, it's too dangerous for anyone.”

“Not For Me.” ManBot shot back as he flew head first into the sky.

P’andor flew over to a nearby Telephone pole and swiftly phased his arms into the distribution transformer and began absorbing the electricity.
“Yes, that's more like it, I was Starving!” P’andor exclaimed in satisfaction.

“I’m afraid you’ll have to get that to go!” he heard in the distance as he looked up to see ManBot flying right for him as he tried to tackle him to the ground.

P’andor didn’t even attempt to dodge as ManBot suddenly passed harmlessly through him as if he wasn’t even there. The surprise of this caused ManBot to accidentally crash into a car below.

“Hehehe, I Commend your fortitude, but you don’t seriously still think you can Beat me, do you?”

P’andor said confidently, not even bothering to stop what he’s doing.

“Ugh,” ManBot said as he got back up. “You got what you wanted, didn’t you? Now we need you to get out of here, whatever you are, your form is incredibly dangerous to humans.”

“As if I care, Metal Man, This Planet is like an All you can Eat Buffet, and there is No way I am passing this up.” P’andor said with a dark smile.

ManBot clenched his fist in anger, before taking a deep breath and relaxing himself. “You know, I once knew a man who was very much like you…..I'm not a fan of Him Either!” ManBot stated as he fired a Focus beam directly into P’andor’s back.

P’andor absorbed the beam into his body passively, but suddenly paused, removing his arms from the pole and turning around. Once P’andor got a good look at ManBot he saw it, the most potent well of energy he had ever seen, right there in front of him, ripe for the taking.

“Y-your energy…..It’s…ENTICING!” P’andor yelled as he lunged his way towards ManBot like a fierce predator. ManBot boosted himself into the sky right before P’andor pounced on his position, P’andor growled as ManBot flew off, and quickly gave chase, hungry for his energy.

‘Alright, well I got him to chase me, now I just gotta figure out how to stop him’ ManBot thought as he turned himself towards a nearby railyard.

P’andor was gaining on him, “You can’t escape from me for long! I’m faster than you!”

‘He’s not wrong, I have to end this quickly’ ManBot thought as he flew underneath the loading dock on the rail line. When P’andor followed, ManBot swiftly shot at several cranes holding large shipping crates, causing them to fall on P’andor. But P’andor simply flew straight through all of them like some kind of ghost.

‘Damn, now I know how it feels to fight Tombstone. How am I supposed to bring him down if I can’t even touch him?’ ManBot thought, “Well, if there's one thing I’m good at, it’s Destruction.” P’andor began firing a series of energy blasts at ManBot, trying to shoot him down. ManBot took some evasive action, but every time P’andor managed to score a hit, ManBot just absorbed it, frustrating the creature even more.

Suddenly ManBot turned and flew back in the direction where this battle started. P’andor turned at a much shorter angle however, gaining significant ground, he was going to catch him imminently and ManBot knew it.

Trying to buy some time, ManBot turned around and fired a full powered Focus Beam directly at P’andor’s face, but the Alien creature literally opened his mouth and began eating the beam as it was being fired, still approaching ManBot at the same speed.

P’andor’s fist became engulfed in energy as he delivered a powerful punch directly into ManBots Torso, which immediately shot ManBot downward at a shallow angle in a big electrical explosion. ManBot Crashed into the ground right where he had freed P’andor and collapsed in a heap.

P’andor landed on top of him before he knew what happened and began whaling on him with his long extendable fists, breaking small bits and pieces off ManBots suit with each strike.

“Hahaha, In some ways I owe you for Freeing me, so I Feel conflicted about this, but You’re energy is way too rich to pass up!” P’andor stated as he Phased his arms into ManBot and began sucking in Energy X from him.
“Aaarrrggghhh!” ManBot cried in Pain as his power was being siphoned from his body.

P’andor chuckled, “Don’t worry, I’ll do you a favor and end this quickly.”

ManBot looked up at him intensely, fighting through the pain, “ARh, It’s funny…There was a Time I'd have given anything to be rid of this power…” He said before his hand wrapped around a jagged piece of P’andor’s suit and suddenly Stabbed it into his shoulder.

“Ahehaaaaaa!” P’andor recoiled in Pain, jumping backwards off ManBot with an inhuman hiss, looking at the piece of metal jammed into him.

ManBot rose back to his feet. “If this stuff could hold you…” ManBot started as he took the intact hands from P’andor’s suit and placed them over his own like gauntlets. “I’m Betting it can Touch You!” He said as he suddenly delivered a full powered Wallop right into the Alien’s face, which Impacted Hard. ManBot didn’t let up, he punched him one after the other, again and again until this being who hardly even knew what force felt like was knocked into a daze on the ground.

ManBot didn’t waste any time as he climbed on top of the downed creature, and discarded his gauntlets.

“I’m sorry I have to do this.” He said as he plunged his hands into the Alien’s torso and began absorbing his energy into himself. P’andor began screaming in pain as he tried to fight him off, but found himself growing too weak to do so effectively at a rapid pace.

“Stop….you Can’t!” P’andor spat in defiance.

“I have to.” ManBot responded without emotion as the alien creature faded away until it disappeared entirely.

Only once he was sure it was now over, ManBot collapsed to the ground, panting heavily, his injuries catching up with him.

“ManBot to Freedom Tower, Crisis averted, For Freedom!” He said triumphantly over the intercom.

“Amazing Work ManBot! We’ll need to debrief you back at headquarters!” Minuteman responded in glee.
“About that, I think someone’s gonna have to come pick me up.”

KO!

Despite the massive amount of similarities and relatively small arsenals of abilities of our two combatants today, the matchup ended up being fairly complex with a great deal of factors to consider. To get the basics out of the way, ManBot and P’andor were Basically dead even in terms of physical strength and speed, both of them clearly scaling to low-mid Island level in raw power, and able to reach similarly Massively Hypersonic speeds in short bursts, while being much more slow and lumbering normally. True, P’andor’s scaling calculation did come out to be about 4 times more powerful than Teds, the fact that he downscales from it while Ted upscales from it by a possibly large amount, coupled with both their disproportionately high durability, make it a pretty negligible factor. They also have relatively even Secondary Stats, making this a fight much more reliant on their baser abilities and differences, with a specific focus on Defenses and what ways the other had around them.
There are two different versions of P’andor to consider for this fight, P’andor while he is wearing the containment suit, and the True P’andor, so we need to do a play by play comparison of both of them VS ManBot.

Containment Suit P’andor had a much more limited arsenal of powers, trading that off for high defense in a similar manner to Baldur while afflicted with his curse compared to him while freed. P’andor in this state had 3 primary powers, however none of which would be effective to use on Ted. With Ted’s passive energy absorption trait, he’d easily be able to absorb any of the facebeams P’andor managed to hit him with. Similarly, P’andor’s superheated touch and Lava Eruption attacks were certainly hot, but ManBot’s general heat resistances have enabled him to shrug off potential attacks from similar powerful pyrokinetics like El Diablo and Red Sun in game, so they really wouldn’t do that much. This means Containment Suit P’andor would essentially just have to try and physically beat ManBot into submission, but that too would most likely fail, as not only is ManBot able to be a relative Tank in game to foes on P’andor’s strength tier, but since ManBot can fly and P’andor in this state can’t, Ted could easily just float outside of melee range to prevent him from doing this.

The main selling point P’andor had in this state is the protection the Containment Suit offered him which tbf is a Helluva Lot. With its ability to straight up tank at LEAST large planetary attacks, there was absolutely nothing base ManBot could throw at P’andor that would even scratch that suit. But ManBot did have his own massively disproportionately powerful ability to answer to that, The Energy Surge. With its ability to hit with Infinite Attack Potency and harm multiversal threats like Entropy and Time Master, there was simply no way the Containment Suit could stand up to it, even if scaled to Dagon and Ultimate Waybig.

But that brings us right into the next phase of this debate, ManBot VS the True P’andor. Due to the Intangible nature of P’andor’s true body, basically all of ManBots normal attack options such as the Focus Beam, Detonation Ability, any of his physical attacks and even the Energy Surge would all be useless here. ManBot has never displayed the ability to harm an actual intangible enemy himself, with even the Chaos Wraiths from the Celestial Clock not displaying that power solidly. Regardless of how powerful something like the Energy Surge was, it doesn’t mean anything if it is unable to interact with P’andor. Couple that with P’andor’s wide array of new abilities including being able to fly unrestricted at a much faster speed than Manbot and things weren’t looking that good for him. But surprisingly, ManBot did what he did best and rose to the occasion, still having a sizable amount of advantages over the True P’andor.

P’andor does have the ability to detect and absorb Energy in this state, and would look at ManBot as an all you can eat buffet to say the least. But because ManBot has a Literally infinite pool of Energy X to draw from for his abilities, there is simply no way for P’andor’s energy drain to ever be a remote threat to him as he’ll just never run out. P’andor is also highly radioactive in this state but similar to the Heat and Energy Resistances Ted has which would still prove useful here, he is also resistant to Radiation and has gone up against multiple dangerous radioactive characters before like the Domain Aliens or the Microwave Robots from the Future, allowing ManBot to persist against P’andor just as easily. And while ManBot is weak against Electricity, P’andor didn’t really have a means of capitalizing on that, as while he has shown to be perfectly capable of absorbing electrical power, he’s never manipulated electricity for attacks before.

Now Granted P’andor would be a lot faster and more equipped to physically Beat Ted into submission over time in this state, especially because Ted can no longer use his flight to avoid such a confrontation, with P’andor’s intangibility being able to protect from all Ted’s normal attacks, eventually he’d be able to wear him down and win. But there was one huge weakness P’andor did have in this state that ManBot could totally capitalize on, Draining his Energy.

Now at first glance, one might look at that with some skepticism, Yes ManBot can drain large amounts of energy from his surroundings, but P’andor can drain an entire Nuclear Power Plant in seconds, and could always use Ted himself as a battery to prevent his own reserves from getting to low so what gives? Well essentially, context is everything. P’andor was always very good at quickly amassing lots of energy, but he was never very good at keeping or maintaining it when met with resistance. P’andor was initially defeated in the Ben 10 series after Kevin absorbed the material and properties of Carbon Rods. Carbon Rods are used in Nuclear Reactors to control the rate of the reactions taking place. They are able to do this because of their Magnetic properties drawing away and absorbing any excess neutrons in the material. Because of this Kevin was able to physically interact with P’andor due to contacting his energy directly, and drain him of all his excess power into a weakened state in seconds. So even if a character’s energy draining isn’t as potent as P’andor’s, as long as it is MORE Potent than that of normal Carbon Rods then they too would be able to replicate this or better. Someone like ManBot would thus be more than capable of draining P’andor of his energy, and we know that fully draining P’andor of energy will kill him. But surely with P’andor’s superior speed he could simply keep ManBot at range, feeding off his energy while he bombards him to stop this strategy right? Well actually, no he couldn’t as despite the difference in potency, ManBot’s energy manipulation has shown to be able to effect the energy levels of his enemies, allies and general surroundings even at a distance of hundreds of meters in game, while P’andor always needed to establish physical contact with something before he could leech energy from it. As long as ManBot is in his general vicinity, P’andor is in constant danger of this, while ManBot’s own defenses would more or less be sound. In this battle of barely contained powerhouses, ManBot was the Breakout star and Secured his Victory.

The winner is, THE MANBOT!

My Gym Partner's a Monkey VS Strategy Guide

My Gym Partner’s a Monkey is what I would consider the 1st Cartoon Network series in the Transition period between Classic and Modern CN. Coming out in a time of experimentation when the strange and unusual started to reign…..some of them weren’t very good, but this is one of the more classic series, with a surprisingly interesting world and is more closely associated with the older shows, so I thought it would be neat to take a dive into this show and discuss its power and see how to be OP in the wild halls of Charles Darwin Middle School!

Town Tier:

This is the solo tier of the series where one will find the entire cast of characters. One would naturally think with the wide variety of animals featured from insects to whales, there’d have to be multiple tiers, but the series has repeatedly shown things such as a 1 Ton Rhino getting his butt kicked by an 8 Ounce Frog, so clearly the opposite is true and everyone here can generally compete with one another.

In terms of raw power, Animals are stronger than people, yes, but this series seems to go a bit extreme with it, with characters regularly tossing others into orbit, shattering large buildings with minimal effort, and having the school explode on top of them. Their best feats of power and durability come from the multiple times a character attacks someone, and the force of said attack is expressed by the show cutting to 1950s footage of a Hydrogen Bomb going off. Hydrogen Bombs at the time were capable of unleashing an equivalent explosive yield anywhere from 100 Kilotons to 1.5 Megatons of TNT, with a 1.5 Megaton one specifically being used by Adam’s scream attack late into the series, which while being enough to defeat the characters, was still endured by everyone at the school, so High Kilotons seems to be the average power of characters in verse.

In terms of Speed, characters in this series are Really rather fast for their power tier, with even early into the series Adam and Jake being able to do their famous Shiny duel where they consistently dodged around, block and outpace reflected light beams, and this was kept fairly consistent in verse with characters having feats of moving in tandem with sunlight. So the characters in this verse are able to move at the speed of light if not somewhat faster.

Characters tend to have fairly good secondary stats in this series as well, with all the characters having Black Belt level martial arts training in their classes, and often able to perform impressive feats of skill and dexterity, or perform tasks for days on end without tiring. And while there are a lot of fairly low intelligent characters in this series, there are also some standouts such as the Spiffies that can build advanced technology like Robots, Laser Cannons, Cloning tech and Mind Control Helmets.

The series takes place in Charles Darwin Middle School, a School for anthropomorphic young animals from the local Zoo to learn how to be animals, which the human main character Adam Lyon accidentally was enrolled in due to a Bureaucratic Clerical Error that never gets corrected. As such every single ‘Power’ one could naturally find in the animal kingdom is on the table here. This includes Flight, Numerous varieties and degrees of Super Senses, stealth abilities, advanced digging or climbing, many different kinds of Poisons/Venoms and more niche specific powers like Eels generating electricity, Skunks using a stink spray or Chameleons turning completely invisible.

But that's just the somewhat realistic powers found in this verse, they have plenty of more out there powers too, the most prominent of which is their sheer Regeneration, with characters constantly being able to instantaneously come back from having their limbs or head explode, being reduced to skeletons, and in one case Lupe surviving having her entire body explode leaving no visible trace except her beak, then her beak ALSO exploding and leaving no visible trace at all. This would be considered at least High regeneration, allowing characters to come back even if only microscopic pieces of their form remain. Other common powers possessed by most if not all of the cast include Teleportation, entering into people's Dreams somehow, as well as some advanced 4th Wall Awareness, which also enables them to hear characters Voice Over, and both summon and witness Flashbacks, including for things none of the present characters were actually there for technically giving them a way to learn of any past event.

Getting into individual characters, the consistently weakest character in the verse is the human, Adam Lyon. Despite this weakness he has proven to be fairly tough on multiple occasions, being able to shrug off Eating Radiation, and being thrown into the Vacuum of Space wearing nothing but a Cheerleader outfit on two different occasions with no negative effect. Adam is also one of the most intelligent characters in the verse, possessing a completely photographic memory, and carries a Captain Clowney bird control device, which once allowed his friend Kerry to mind control an entire flock of birds to do her bidding.

Adam’s best friend, Jake Spidermonkey, is far more versatile showing off far more out there powers. Jake can grow extra appendages, flawlessly impersonate any voice, elastically stretch and contort his body, and Hypnotize people using his Butt. He knows multiple mystical Yogi techniques that enable him to levitate, flawlessly see and predict the future, literally summon vines for himself to swing from in any environment, make himself invisible to all but those that he wants to see him, and he even has some form of Matter Manipulation, as he was able to successfully achieve Photosynthesis and turn Carbon Dioxide into Oxygen inside of his body. But that's got nothing on the fact that Jake, well, he Knows a Guy.

Winsor has a super powerful sonic roar attack that can make people's heads explode, and spatially removed Jake’s eyes. Both he and Slips also displayed the ability to fly and turn intangible. Ingrid has the ability to teleport herself and others through Time and used this to travel to Adam’s past Thanksgivings. Nurse Gazelle has excellent hunting skills and chemically enhanced darts and Mr. Mandrill can summon forth a psychic trip that can affect large groups of people. There's also a lot of other weird and bizarre creatures found in this verse including Wizards, Ghosts, Talking Tumbleweeds that can enter into the black screen after an Iris in, as well as Robots, who are somewhat superior to the normal characters, they possess powers such as flight, disintegration beams and the ability to generate robot duplicates of others they come across. Probably the most Hax character in the verse to deal with is David Coppertrout, the magical wish granting fish. David has reality warping powers that allowed him to do things such as BFR Adam into the Dinosaur era, fly, cast illusions, teleport huge amounts of people, know others’ true feelings with enhanced perception and turn the world into a Musical where everyone would break into periodic musical numbers.

So what are some Weaknesses that are found in this verse? Well one of the more obvious ones are the characters are a bunch of animals, so with only a few notable exceptions the characters tend not to be all that bright. They definitely aren’t Fairly Oddparents dumb but they are naive and easily manipulated, tending to interpret information incorrectly, so a trickster of some kind would get pretty far here. All the Animals characters, so basically everyone you’d have to worry about but Adam, also have two huge specific weaknesses. The first is that Musical Instruments will cause all animals that hear it to instantly fall asleep. Music Soothes the Savage Beast in this verse to the point the actual School Orchestra makes music with random objects because of this problem. The second, and arguably worse weakness is Shiny Things, which seem to possess an insane hypnotic power over any animal that witnesses it. Jake was able to completely take over the school and turn every one of his animal peers and authority figures into defenseless mind controlled slaves just by bringing a Glass Doorknob to school. So yeah, if the character is a musician or happens to carry something particularly shiny, that in and of itself is a huge advantage. So with that in mind what counters could we potentially use here?

Mirror Master:

Somebody I feel would be particularly dangerous here would be none other than Mirror master from DC Comics. Now let's be honest, as a character whose powers are centralized around Mirrors, he already meets the reflective angle and could end up accidentally mind controlling like 99% of the cast of this show on sight. But even if we discounted that, this ol boys got quite a lotta tricks to pull out to give this verse a hard time. He can simply enter into the Mirror Dimension and he’d effectively become safe from any attack any of these characters attempt to throw at him, even Ingrid’s time manipulation would not be effective as the Mirror Dimension exists outside of spacetime. Mirror Master can create illusions and duplicate himself which would make him incredibly slippery even if caught out in the open despite his speed gap, let's be real, he’s fought FAR faster and more capable using these techniques. He’s also got multiple ways that would finish off the Animal students with just one hit, despite their regeneration, such as trapping them in the Mirror Dimension for a BFR or using his Mirror gun to transmutate them into glass and shatter them. That said, he would be vulnerable to Winsor’s Sonic Roar attack shattering his mirrors and his stats are FAR lower than those of the cast and if they do manage to get their hands on him they’d tear him apart, While unlikely another option you could use…

Tart:

Tart from the environmental magical girl series Tokyo Mew Mew would work quite well in this verse. Tart is capable of flying into orbit at speeds of over Mach 2,000 and fighting head to head with the Mew Mews who have Kiloton level feats. While the Charles Darwin student’s DO have a notable physical edge over him, Tart has a lot of powers such as flight, teleportation, invisibility and dimensional travel that would make him really hard to pin down. Plus he kinda makes up for it with just how broken one of his primary abilities is, the power to make Chimera Animals. With this he could literally spread himself out like a plague turning the characters into supercharged monsters that serve him and making the entire school destroy itself while he sadistically laughs and laughs. While it would be impossible for his enhanced minions to finish anyone off he Would eventually take over the entire school with this power, and additionally his species has the ability to absorb the Spirits of beings and trap people in pocket dimensions, which are clear one shot hax if he ever needs to use those. So this would be a dangerous mission for him, but it’s one I think he is well prepared for.

Deadpool:

So another potential character one could use would be the Merc with a Mouth himself, Deadpool. Wade clearly has multiple Multi City Block level and Mach 5,000 feats and has insane levels of skill that has allowed him to battle competent heroes like Iron Fist before, who is far stronger than him and has Lightspeed reactions. With his healing factor, Wade can shrug off most of the injuries that the characters of this verse could cause him anyway, as he's been able to quickly heal back from having massive holes blown through him and being flattened into paste before. Deadpool has tons of shiny metal weapons to use such as swords and guns which more than likely would end up controlling characters which Wade would quickly become privy to in the fight and begin using to his advantage. His Teleportation device is not only good for letting him quickly escape and get the drop on his opponents, but also teleporting anything from his large warehouse of weapons and supplies into his possession and he could just start bringing in all his shiniest things to become the king of the school just like Jake did but with no risk to himself. But could Wade actually kill these characters? Well absolutely, Wade can generate energy fields that he surrounds his blades with, enabling them to cut straight through characters as durable as The Hulk, so he’d have little trouble overcoming their durability. So Wade, while I think this would initially go south for him if he ended up fighting a bunch of animals at once, he’d eventually be able to pull this off in the long run. But If you want a faster option…

Hibiscusy:

My Gym Partner’s a Monkey has an entire special where the characters go to Hawaii so I thought who better to take care of its characters than the leader of the Hawaiian branch of the Dark Agency from Codename: Sailor V, Hibiscusy. Hibiscucy like most of the characters in this verse is at the very least a villain of Sailor V, a weaker non awakened form of Sailor Venus who still has stats basically exactly the same as the MGPaM characters so she’d clearly be able to compete here. Hibiscusy has two primary abilities that will be quite relevant here, those being energy draining, something the characters at this verse have never encountered before and can kill them despite their defenses, as well as Brainwashing, something that Constantly works on the characters of this verse. Both of these powers have absolutely INSANE Range on them by most standards, able to affect entire nations at once, so it stands to reason if any of the characters in this verse are anywhere near her they are in danger of getting instantly merked. The only danger is because Hibiscusy is a physical being, and definitely doesn’t fully scale TO Sailor V physically meaning she’d be weaker than these characters, they Could get lucky and oneshot her if she’s caught off guard, For the safest option,

Freddy Kruegar:

Yeah, when it comes to characters at this specific Stat Range, it's hard to be much more of a standard for OP than Freddy Kruegar from Nightmare on Elm Street. Freddy has been able to form gigantic clouds and make it rain blood over Washington DC giving him a slight power advantage in the low Megatons and also has been able to telekinetically move objects around at light speed and fight against characters comparable to that, meaning he's more than capable of fighting the animals in this tier physically. As a reality warping dream demon, Freddy has counters to basically ANYthing this verse has to offer, having the ability to harm intangibles, manipulate time to a superior degree, enter into dreams and kill people in numerous ways that their regeneration wouldn’t be able to defend against such as eating their souls or turning them into a stove. Freddy is basically a swiss army knife of hax who’d be more than able to out fox these various animal combatants and get in a kill, and with his own various defenses like Intangibility, Duplication and equally good Regeneration it would be a massive uphill battle for them to figure out and execute a plan to stop him. Meanwhile Freddy is the master of Nightmares and would be able to look into any of their minds and find their weaknesses and irrational fears and easily replicate those to make his victory all the faster. I don’t think Freddy would struggle here even if the entire verse teamed up on him.

The Fairly OddParents VS Strategy Guide

The Fairly OddParents, Butch Hartman’s first and most successful franchise, one of the longest running and most Iconic of Nickelodeon's entire cartoon library, but also EASILY the most Powerful Verse the channel has ever produced! FOP is an extremely long series with a lotta material to go through and for the purposes of this will be considering all of its animated content, including all 10 seasons of the series, as well as the Preseries Oh Yeah! Cartoons shorts and all the various Movies and specials such as Abra-Catastrophe, Channel Chasers, Schools Out The Musical, Fairy Idol, The Wishology series and the Jimmy Timmy Power Hour Crossover Specials. That's a lot to cover so we’d better get into it, so Here's how to be OP in Fairly OddParents!

Planetary Tier:

We start things off in what is basically the Civilian tier of Fairly Oddparents, which is home to the normal human characters of the series as well as several species of Aliens and the general cast of comic book superheroes from the Crimson Chin series. Yes, despite the latter two groups clearly being established to be ‘Superhuman’ in verse, they don’t actually have any direct feats or scaling that puts them above the feats of the general civilian tier. The greatest amount I could scale the Superheros above Civilians comes from a single statement from Cosmo stating that The Crimson Chin fighting cosplayers dressed as his villains would be able to “Rip through them like Tissue.” If you take that at face value then that is numerous times stronger yes, but that wouldn’t be enough of a difference to grant them a tier of their own. In the Big Superhero Wish, a normal human Janitor, Firewoman and Milkman were able to defeat three villains on the NegaChin’s level, and later in the series Catman, who is a crazy actor who thinks he really is a superhero he played on TV, still managed to defeat the Real Crimson Chin’s entire rogues gallery. In addition to that, Vicky the 16 year old Babysitter was able to blatantly defeat the supposedly superhuman aliens Dark Laser and Mandie in separate battles, and Vicky is far from physically unstoppable in this tier. So yeah, While the Superhumans are somewhat stronger than the Normal Humans, the difference is clearly quite negligible in verse.

With that out of the way, The characters in this tier would be Large Planetary Level based on….actually several really consistent feats from throughout the series. Numerous characters have Tanked Black Holes including Crocker, Dark Laser on numerous occasions, and Vicky who has an actual, real fist-sized Black Hole Inside her Body where her heart should be, and is just….Fine. In Wishology, numerous civilian characters were able to survive standing on a planet that violently exploded, Dark Laser was similarly able to tank being at the epicenter of his planet-sized space station as it blew up all around him, and again Vicky is stronger than him. Timmy‘s Dad nearly destroyed the entire ocean by playing bongos too aggressively, and even more extreme, Timmy’s own Triangle playing created a shockwave powerful enough to violently break the moon in half, and everyone on Earth just tanked it. This makes Fairly Oddparents have one of the most physically powerful civilian tiers I have ever seen.

In terms of Speed, Well considering that Chester and AJ can dodge Laser beams, Timmy was able to perceive traveling through the Internet at the speed of light without issue, and Crocker was famously able to react to and block the resulting blast of Nuclear Fission, WHILE Standing on the Atom that was split, which is like reacting to something in 1 Femtosecond, a unit of time so small that Light only moves the length of a Virus within it, it's pretty clear that these characters are hundreds if not thousands of times the speed of light.

So Large Planet Level, FTL+ will be the limitations for characters here which leaves a surprisingly large pool of options for counters considering most of the people in this tier are human beings without any notable abilities, that being said there are a fair share of standout characters to note. Something that ironically is fairly high in this Magic based series is scientific knowledge, with even characters like Mr. Turner, apparently being smart enough to turn his car into a giant fighting robot. The actual Genius characters like Crocker and AJ being able to make devices like an interdimensional portal and a Time Machine. A Time Machine is normally considered a Type 3 Intelligence Feat on the Kardashev Scale, but I am actually going to say this is Type 4 considering AJ was able to build this from scratch in about 10 seconds using only Paperclips and Yarn as materials.

In addition to this there are multiple laser weapons in this series, the most notable one being Timmy Turner’s own Heat Vision, which he wished for in early season 1 and then the show in one of the most awesome callbacks ever, remembered he just has and never wished away in late season 5. These beams of pure heat are able to disintegrate even Fairies on contact which is a level of Destructive Capacity FAR outside this tier normally and thus is a potential oneshot threat to counters one could choose here.

While we are on random powers possessed by civilians, Mr. Turner has the ability to Read People's Minds, Catman has numerous stereotypical Batman Gadgets including a Stat bolstering Robo Suit, and villain characters such as Crocker have displayed enough regenerative abilities to come back after being sliced into tiny pieces. Timmy Turner in the film Abra-Catastrophe also came equipped with numerous magical gear that he should have access too if given prep, including a Jetpack, a magic resistant cloak, an unbreakable lasso of the tooth fairy’s dental floss, explosive eggs, a mask that can disguise your face as anything, a Mirror that can reflect attacks back to sender, and arrows that force one to fall Madly in love with the first person they see.

When talking about other species found in this verse, there were dragons in the medieval era of the world who, like stereotypical dragons, could fly, breathe fire and were completely impervious to Fairy Magic which could be a notable threat. But most of the other species found in Fairly Oddparents are aliens, such as the Yugopatamians, octopus-like beings who have access to advanced tech including MFTL spacecrafts that can blow up planets or Badass metal battlesuits with electrical attacks. Their most prominent member is Mark Chang, whose belt allows him to shapeshift into any form imaginable, and comes equipped with projectile attacks such as Knockout Gas and sticky immobilizing goo. Other aliens include Mandie, a powerful alien Princess who can fly, manipulate Plasma for attacks, detect the power level of foes including  Fairies, and induce stasis that could trap Cosmo and Wanda indefinitely, as well as Dark Laser, a Darth Vader parody who has telekinetic and mind control abilities.

Lastly we have to discuss the Superhero characters from the Crimson Chin comic series who occasionally are brought into the FOP reality. The Chin himself has some standard superman powers including flight, heat vision and x-ray vision, as well as his signature ability the Power Pupils, a beam he can shoot from his eyes that gives allies it hits similar powers to himself. Most of the Chin’s villains simply use normal projectile and explosive attacks. The two most notable villains include H2Olga, a logia being made of water who has various hydrokinetic powers, and The Nega-Chin, The Chin’s arch nemesis who has all his powers, the ability to enter and exit the Comic Book at will via immersion, and a dark counterpart to the Chin’s power pupils called Nega-Vision, a beam he can shoot from his eyes that removes the superpowers of whoever it hits and Gives those powers to the Nega-Chin.

So what weaknesses are found in this verse? So the first thing to address here, and this will most likely be a trend in this blog, but yeah every single character in this tier is a complete Moron. I Know I said they have impressive type 4 intellect feats, but this has to be some kinda savant situation as even those characters are cartoonishly naive and get constantly manipulated and make nonsensical decisions. A character with equal stats who is very Wise and Tactical, would already be quite a force to be reckoned with in context. As a matter or fact, ALL the secondary Stats are things this tier isn’t particularly very good at on average, making outlasting, out ranging, out fighting and out stealthing these characters fairly straight forward. Beyond that the verse has quite a few dangerous offensive abilities to throw at people, but with the exception of Dark Laser’s ‘Dark Powers’ literally ALL of them from Knockout Gas to Plasma attacks to even Nega-Vision are Projectile attacks, and therefore can be dodged, blocked or better yet Reflected. Attack Reflection would be extremely effective in this verse, as well as overall spatial manipulation abilities in order to prevent powers such as The Nega-Chin’s immersion or one of the scientist's portals. There aren’t that many general defenses in this tier a counter would have to pass either, there are a few beings who have high level magic resistance so one should avoid using magical characters, and they have some decent Regen, but most hax should work just fine. With all that considered my first counter is:

The Golden Eagle Twins:

Sticking with Nickelodeon, our first counters are the superhero Golden Eagle Twins from the El Tigre series. These two are powerful and fast enough individually to match and even Outmatch Manny in a head to head fight, the same Manny who can react to lasers that can travel to the Sun in 1 second, and overpower characters who could pull the Moon out of orbit at relativistic speed, easily allowing them to match the characters in this tier in stats. The GET have a pretty standard set of abilities for The Fairly Oddparents verse which they scammed from the god Kinich Ahau, making them divine and able to bypass magic resistance. These powers include Flight, and powerful energy projectiles, making them similar to someone like Mandie but ludicrously more competent, being able to match superhumanly skilled heroes and villains. That being said, this isn’t the primary reason I am picking them. Carla and Carlitos are the most beloved and respected superheroes in Miracle City, thought of as the sweetest, most perfect goodie two shoes heroes you can get, but in reality they are selfish spoiled con artists who have everyone trapped in their ruse. The Eagle Twins have everyone in their verse so convinced they are cool, awesome and celebrated heroes and have such high charisma that they can get away with pretty much anything. Super Villains Surrender to them on Sight because of how much of an honor it is to be defeated by them. People who they prevented from being robbed will literally give them all of the would-be stolen goods as gifts for helping them. Heck they literally tried to disintegrate a park full of old ladies and little kids, were stopped by El Tigre, and El Tigre went to jail for it, they are THAT Good. The El Tigre series’ civilians can have their dumb moments here and there, but they are still WAY Smarter than the Fairly Oddparents civilians in general, having consistently far more knowhow and street smarts. For Carla and Carlitos to have this level of influence over them, means they would for all intents and purposes be able to practically Mind Control everyone in this tier. Casually coming out on top in every situation without even needing to fight, and if they DO need to fight, their skill should more than suffice. Some of the biggest threats to the Golden Eagle Twins would be the stat bolstering abilities like various mech suits and the power pupils, as well as the potential draining of Nega Vision. That said they do have one more power that kinda handles both of those problems. When Carla and Carlitos are in physical contact with each other, their power increases one thousand fold. This would easily put them in a dwarf star level tier and would be higher than any of the normal stat buffs as well as beyond the draining limit of the Nega Chin’s abilities, as well as let them damage the characters beyond what any of their regen has shown to be able to fix. That being said, while they are more than equipped to take this tier on offensively, their defenses do leave it possible for them to be taken out in a surprise attack if not careful. For a safer option:

Tougou Mimori:

So someone I do think would be far safer in this verse would be Tougou from the Yuki Yuna is a hero series. In Mankai form Heros comparable to Touhou have been able to physically shatter moon-sized monsters without much issue, putting them more on a physical par with the various civilian characters here. Speedwise, the fastest things in YYH would only give her FTL Reactions so she would be at a notable disadvantage in that regard, but as someone with the Hero system, she doesn’t necessarily need to worry about being blitzed or hit by attacks. The Fairies that Tougou has creates an automatic barrier that would instantly shield her from any attack coming her way, preventing her from dying even from herself and blocking all physical and projectile attacks. And the stuff these Barriers have been shown to protect against is Insane, including things like Supernova’s, Black Holes, and even the universe destroying power of various dark gods….which is actually perfectly enough to protect Tougou from every single possible method of attack this verse could throw at her, including Timmy’s fairy harming Heat Vision, and the power draining Negavision. So talk about a safe option, they simply cannot reach her. Now with that said how good would Tougou be at attacking them back? Well on the plus side, since The Hero System is the Divine blessings of the god Shinju combined with technology and therefore not technically magic, none of the magical resistances in this tier matter. The biggest hurdle for her would therefore be killing the characters of this tier past defenses such as regeneration and logia, which while difficult are things she could do. Togo is a magical girl Sniper, and her attacks focus on distance, able to summon various long and mid range guns and even open portals which fire gigantic laser beams to annihilate foes before they even know what hit them. Upon doing enough damage these things are capable of directly destroying the target’s soul, so it's really just a matter of scoring enough hits. Now that may sound like a difficult task which would take a long time and to some degree that is true, but the thing is, Tougou Has the time, and the reason I specifically choose Her is simple, she's arguably the most intelligent and crafty hero on her team, and is more than willing to play this super dirty and put her targets into unwinnable situations because of her relative ability to think circles around them all. But if that would still take too long, I can most likely sway you with my last counter.

Gargos:

Yes here we are, Gargos the demonic Gargoyle lord of Killer Instinct! Gargos was capable in his introduction of flying down from space into the planet at speeds of over Mach 19,000, and dispersing all the clouds over North America with just the shockwave of doing so, which would place his power well in the Exatons. In terms of raw stats this isn’t going to let him keep up with these characters very well, but that disadvantage is only fair considering how hard he bullies them at everything else. First of all, Gargos is connected to the Astral Plane, a galaxy sized alternate dimension, which as long as it remains, allows him to immediately come back from any physical injury, and therefore this tier cannot kill him conventually. Even some of the more haxy powers in this verse, such as Nega-Vision would not be able to stop him, as he draws his powers from the Astral plane and he himself is not the source, The Astral Plane being far more large and potent than anything Negavision has absorbed in the past. And just to add insult to injury with that, Gargos also has the ability to absorb the superpowers of others upon defeating them, which was how he amassed his current astral status to begin with, allowing him to slowly grow stronger the longer this fight goes on. Gargos’ bread and butter power is Spatial Manipulation, able to open and even seal dimensional portals, preventing the scientist characters from opening any portals themselves, and using his portals to block and redirect the projectile attacks thrown at him, which is a common thing he does in his moveset. Gargos is a super intelligent and ancient entity, able to match wits with ARIA, who could comprehend every single thing ever written by humans in seconds and instantly became impossible for humans to beat at chess. This intelligence also allowed him to play essentially a chess game using the KI combatants as his pawns, manipulating Jago for years under the guise of the god he worshiped, which means Gargos would be able to turn this verse on its head without even lifting a wing. If he does wanna get involved directly though, he's got plenty of Oneshot Hax that should kill anyone in this tier immediately, including Corruption, Eating their souls, draining away their lifeforce or taking over their minds in no less than 4 different ways, all of which he could totally do as all of these are natural Astral abilities and not sorcery. Coupled with his advanced illusions and there's simply nothing this verse could do to stop his invasion.

Universal Tier:

The 2nd tier of the series as well as the Tier that made the series famous overall is what I like to call the Fairy Tier where Cosmo, Wanda, Poof and the other various members of the Fairy Species can be found. Now Granted, Fairies aren’t the only magical creatures who would be included in this tier, numerous other species such as Anti-Fairies, Pixies, Gnomes, Leprechauns, Genies and various Holiday associated beings would be in this tier as well, but since they all have pretty much identical power sets, yeah it's basically just the fairy tier.

Despite how non threatening they may look, Fairies are easily the most powerful race of characters in all of Nickelodeon, with individual members constantly and casually being portrayed as able to Destroy the entire Universe, as showcased with feats such as Jorgan simply crushing a Big Bang in the palm of his hand, or the Newborn Baby Poof almost wiping out the universe with his power. And this isn’t merely just the destructive capability of their magic either, this is their natural physical power as shown when Jorgan and Cosmo were able to stop a Universe annihilating explosion by smothering it with their physical bodies and were completely unharmed.

Speedwise, a group of 200 Fairies were once famously able to search every corner of the entire universe for Cosmo in only around 3 hours time, a feat which would place individual fairies in the Quintillions of times the speed of light tier. So that will be the limit for counters statwise, which really isn't that much of a limit cause holy crap there are only a few hundred series in existence that have characters higher than that.

Now in terms of abilities, Fairies are immortal creatures who utilize a very commonly used powersource in fiction known as Magic, and if you recall my Shirley VS Strike blog, you know that Fairy Magic in this series essentially allows one to do ANYTHING, straight up Universal levels of Reality Warping that works up to the conceptual and even Abstract plane. Any common power that you can think of, Fairies either have it, or can instantly give it to themselves via their magic if they so choose. They can fly, teleport, create matter, shapeshift or turn others into anything, see the future, manipulate Space and Time on a universal scale in Any conceivable way, regenerate from being erased conceptually from existence, immerse things into fictional works, resurrect the dead, turn intangible, imbue someone with any number of superpowers, bolster or undermine any stat or skill from zero to infinity, duplicate themselves or others without limit, manipulate minds on a universal scale however they want, turn invisible, travel into other planes of existence and summon beings from someone's imagination. And that’s just to name a few, we would be here ALL day If i tried to go into every single thing they have done or theoretically could do. The most important thing to understand about a Fairies power is that they have Math Manipulation, and a really good version at that, able to literally make 2 + 2 = Fish correct with a wave of their wand. Math is the abstraction from which all of reality as we understand it including concepts are built upon. If you have control over Math, you are functionally a godlike being who can toy with Concepts like playdough and utilize any power short of Chaos Manipulation or Metafictional Manipulation.

The Fairies powers ARE Limited by way of Da Rulez, a magical book which outlines what a Fairy cannot use their magic to do, and will prevent their magic from functioning if they try to violate one of these rules. That being said, pretty much every single thing Da Rulez prevents can be circumvented with a more clever wish that accomplishes the rule breaking desire as a side effect. Such as how a Fairy cannot wish every human dead, but they CAN wish for a planet sized asteroid to crash into the Earth.

So if they are that powerful then how does anything stop these guys? Well Fairies have quite a lot of weaknesses actually, some of which are totally contrived and hilariously inconsistent, but to give a few of the more solidly established ones, Butterfly Nets. According to Fairly Oddparents ‘if it has wings and flies, a Butterfly Net can catch it’ and this seemed to be a law of the universe because fairy magic does not work on beings who use Butterfly Nets and once inside of one a Fairy loses all their powers and cannot escape it through any means. Beyond that Fairies rely on Magic Wands to use their magic, and without them, they lose all their powers and can even be turned into humans, and to make that even worse any being that picks up their wand, can just totally use it, there is no security or skill requirement in these things whatsoever. Fairies cannot use Magic on Christmas due to loaning all their powers to Santa, Shrinking Fairies cuts their magic supply so much they can only do parlor tricks, things that are magical, or last forever cannot be destroyed via Fairy Magic, and any being who has more Magic or Supernatural power than a Fairy, is simply resistant to their powers. Magic Build Up will occur if a Fairy goes more than 24 hours without using magic, which will cause their body to explode into confetti and they will require outside help to return to normal. And lastly, Fairies are weak to Witches, and I don’t mean Witches that are comparable to themself, Witches far weaker than them or any strength level will literally nullify a Fairies magic with their presence.

All this said, these things are all weaknesses of Fairies specifically and there ARE a couple beings in this tier that these would not apply to. The most dangerous magic user in the verse by far is Norm the Genie who has pretty much all the same powers as Fairies but with 3 major differences, those being that he is A. Far smarter than any Fairy, B. has no rules restricting how he can use his magic and C. casts magic directly and doesn’t rely on any tools like wands. That said, like most Genies, he is bound to his lamp and cannot cause major damage while bound to his lamp without tricking his current master into wishing for it.

But there is one more group of characters to talk about here and those are the Eliminators, robotic beings created by and in service of The Darkness, who battle Fairies and other beings on its behalf. Eliminators are made of Liquid Metal and are capable of regenerating from scraps, duplicating themselves from their severed pieces and shapeshifting into anyone or anything, including a wide variety of vehicles and weapons. They have massive super senses that can hear things from across the universe, and the ability to make dimensional portals to travel anywhere in existence instantly. Eliminator’s signature ability is to turn their mouths into black holes that can lead directly into The Darkness itself, which allow them to disarm foes, capture enemies and summon backup. They also Automatically use these black holes to suck in any weapon that is used against them, and then incorporate said weapon into their body, this even included a Fairies wand and allowed them to warp reality just like Fairies.

So what are the Overall weaknesses of this tier? Well besides the weaknesses of Fairies I already pointed out, Fairies are actually FAR Dumber than the previous tier. Fairies are a species of comically gullible, naive, and mentally unstable ignoramus’ who are accidentally responsible for basically every tragic thing that happened in their verse’s history from the death of the dinosaurs to World War I. To be blunt, If i was ranking cartoon Idiots, Billy from Billy and Mandy would be first, and then the entire Fairy Species would be 2nd. Fairies are complete idiots who are practically incapable of using their magic with tactics and whatnot. This has led to things like Crocker single handedly conquering Fairy World in like 5 minutes after being teleported there without even any of his tech. That's not even a one off occurrence as similar things have happened with the even weaker Professor Calamitous from Jimmy Neutron and an army of Cockroaches. The Fairies are constantly made helpless in the face of characters who logically shouldn’t stand a chance against them due to their sheer ineptitude, with straight F students like Timmy able to fool the entire species for 50 straight years at one point. Other magical characters ARE more intelligent than Fairies, yes, but even Norm, who is known for having the wisdom of 50,000 years of experience and being too smart for Timmy, WAS able to be outsmarted by…a lawyer. A fairly wise person in real life is just automatically a GOD tier manipulator in Fairly Oddparents. This then leads me into my second weakness for these characters and that is their total lack of Hax Resistance. Fairies with their magic, COULD make themselves resistant to pretty much any conventional hax, but normally they don’t have any active hax defenses whatsoever and I can’t think of a single example of them using magic to prevent themselves from being haxed. Fairies have been mind controlled, frozen in time, transmutated, erased from reality, sealed away and all sorts of other things by far weaker characters and Could not save themselves without outside help. So with this in mind, what counters could we use in this verse?

Yuuko Ichihara:

So my first thought was to use none other than Dimensional Witch Yuuko from the xxxHolic series. She should be on a similar physical/magical par with The Fairies themselves, given how in the canonical Midsummer Night’s Dream film, she was able to flatly tank attacks from a ghost who could compact a Universe into a room of his mansion. Yuuko should also scale past Larg, a magical creature she created who could send 100,000,000 texts in a single second, calced at over 5 times the speed of light. While that would be far slower than the Fairies, the fact is, Yuuko exists outside of conventional spacetime, experiencing past present and future at once and is unable to be affected by things that happen in conventional time, such as how she could remain unaffected even after the entire multiverse and all of time were ending, thus making a blitz pretty much inconceivable. Now could Fairies theoretically alter Yuuko’s state of being and kill her as a result due to allowing her to move forward in time to her death? Of Course they can! Do I think they would figure out to do that in a million years? Would NOT bet on it. But do they really need to specifically do that to kill her? Yes actually, as Yuuko is a mage from CLAMP, who all naturally possess the ability to Resist magical attacks from beings that aren’t stronger sorcerers than themselves. Given their stats, this means that Yuuko should have a passive and fairly resilient defense against Fairy magic. Just like the Fairies, Yuuko is a Wish granter and has the ability to Warp reality to her whim to make these wishes happen. But unlike Fairies who are reckless idiots with this power, Yuuko is one of the most clever and crafty beings in the entire multiverse, to the point she was able to play a prank on the nearly omniscient super wizard Clow Reed. Yuuko has a crapton of various magical powers, including some particularly broken things like amping the stats of herself and others potentially to infinity as she did to Ashura, or the ability to manipulate souls, or control probability to an extent, all of which would work perfectly on Fairies. Her bread and butter ability is spacetime manipulation, which she could easily use to simple, BFR the Fairies wands away when they are not looking and win, or even keep it and use it for herself, which she would totally know to do as she can sense sources of magical power. Heck Yuuko can even use her matter destruction/manipulation to destroy said wands entirely and completely remove the fairies access to their magic supply, or even use her powers to remove someone’s magic and give it to herself, similar to how she gave Domeki Watanuki’s magic, which would depower anything in verse including the Eliminators. But on the one hand it seems fairly obvious that Yuuko, a magic wielder just as crazy as the fairies, would be able to handle them. So how about we keep going to find those that can counter them with the least on paper.

John Constintine:

First let's talk about Constintine from DC comics. John obviously doesn’t stand any chance against the Fairies in a straight up fight, so he uses his good old wit and manipulation to take them down. And I wasn’t kidding about the Silver Tongue, with it John is one of the most impressive manipulators in DC Comics, able to trick or deceive numerous absolutely ancient Hyper intelligent geniuses such as First of the Fallen. What I am basically saying is, John Constantine is so insanely skilled at manipulation it is essentially a superpower in and of itself, I kid you not he could probably win this with a single sentence, convincing fairies to just let him borrow their wand for a second, and then boom, he'd be able to instantly win with one big spell just from his strategy. Constantine’s stats are super low in comparison so he could be easily blitzed and one shot, but he has SOOOO Much experience going up against characters just like that who are far more serious than the Fairies and always comes out on top, so I would perfectly relay on his ability to do so here, especially considering his lowkey nature to not be seen as a threat. John is also an incredibly skilled Sorcerer who has a large variety of hax that should allow him to stop a fairy if given the chance, including Mind Control and Power Nullification both strong enough to affect Swamp Thing, making advanced illusions, traveling to other dimensions, and Forced Empathy that would transfer damage his should have received to his opponent. With all that said, the threat of John being accidently taken out from across the planet or something by a stray fairy spell still exists. So for my Ultimate Counter…

The Villager:

Yes, the ultimate counter I have for this tier is none other than The Villager, the main player character of Animal Crossing, who I think can take on ALL The Fairies. In terms of Stats, Animal Crossing is not exactly the most powerful verse, with the Villager’s best strength feat being a Small Building level feat where he can break through large boulders, and having only athletic human speeds. Obviously stat wise he doesn’t stand a chance against Fairies, who are so powerful and fast I don’t even think giving him Smash scaling would be enough, but it Does him the benefit of not being considered a threat. But what the heck does he have that can possibly help here? Welllll, I guess one of his main powers is having Hammerspace where he stores a variety of tools he uses to accomplish tasks around the village, but they are mostly mundane things like an Axe, Slingshot, Umbrella, Shovel, Vaulting Pole, Ladder…….A Butterfly Net. Yes whether he is actively holding it or not, The Villager always has a Butterfly Net on his person, and if you recall, having a Butterfly Net prevents Fairies from Harming or even Effecting you by ANY Means. This one tool would give the Villager total immunity from Fairy Magic, as well as the ability to render any Fairy he gets his hands on powerless. But could he really get his hands on them? The speed disparity is Mind Boggling here. Well that gives us another huge advantage, Fairies are Idiots, and get blindsided, snuck up on and even talked to and tricked by far slower characters all the time who used even the slightest bit of strategy. The Villager is known for having extremely high intelligence and charisma, coming into a village of animals as a human outsider, and managing to become their beloved mayor and solving all the cities problems in only 2 weeks, despite being a child with no prior experience or training in doing so. The Villager would be a GOD Tier Manipulator in FOP and could simply talk a fairy down or even convince them to give him their wand with little effort. Heck, when you consider that he also has a fishing rod in his arsenal, which he has used to grab far off objects from at a distance and real into his possession before, he could also just steal wands that way before they even realize. If in possession of a Fairy Wand, The Villager automatically can become as powerful as a Fairy in stats and abilities, but with his far higher intellect, and considering single fairies have haxed ALL the other Fairies in the past with just one cast of their wand, Yeah with the right spell The Villager can almost Insta-Win from there. Given their prominence in the series, The Villager would certainly encounter fairies well before any other being in this tier, so even though beings like Norm could be a threat hypothetically, given the Villager would likely have a wand at that point and Norm would certainly be bound to a lamp as well, he's not Really a threat. The biggest actual threat to The Villager are the Eliminators, who if he tried to use a wand to attack them directly, could absorb his wands and take his stats and reality warping. But even in this scenario The Villager is still safe as Butterfly Nets are able to protect one from any being that has absorbed Fairy Magic, even Shirley. And there's another ability that The Villager has that would totally solve this problem for him, Time Manipulation. The Villager has the ability to create save states in the game to go back and correct mistakes and even travel through time, and yes both of these things are canonical powers he has and not just game mechanics as they are actually part of the game's story. With this, if The Villager messes up AT ALL in trying to secure a wand or battle any of these enemies, he can straight up Undo what just happened and try again, a Hax that we know for a Fact is super effective on these characters from the episode “Deja Vu.” The Villager also has a perfect direct power that could totally take out the Eliminators, the power to turn objects into leaves, a form of transmutation that does not utilize any tools and would completely remove anything for these robots to regen from. Simply Put, the Villager is the unlikely hero who just happens to have the perfect combination of powers to be Untouchable here.

Multiverse Tier:

This is the final tier of Fairly Oddparents and home to only one character, the primary threat of the Wishology series and apocalyptic threat feared by all fairies, The Darkness. The Darkness is an ancient Primordial entity that predates reality as we understand it, resembling a sentient black hole traveling through space leaving only cosmic destruction in its wake. In The Fairly Oddparents verse The Darkness is treated as an unstoppable force of nature, casually swallowing celestial bodies Unicron style and was even able to defeat Every Fairy at once. Given Fairies are casually universe level and there are at least tens of thousands of fairies, coupled with this thing being implied to be all there was before the universe, it clearly is in a tier of its own at multiverse level.

In terms of speed, well, the darkness WAS able to travel to and consume every single Star and Galaxy in the night sky in less than a single second from Earth’s perspective, something which would require speeds of……..Octillions of times the speed of light, which is one of the fastest Non Infinite speed feats I have ever heard of. So that's gonna be an interesting thing to try and match.

The Darkness doesn’t have Intelligence in the conventional sense, being more like a force of nature, that said it did display the ability to create the Eliminators from the previous tier which would be at least a type 3 intelligence feat, meaning it is still smarter than Fairies. Abilities wise, The Darkness can fly, manipulate electricity, and is completely immune to Fairy Magic, as it is able to absorb energy including magical energy that is thrown its way. Like a Black Hole, The Darkness can use its immense gravity to make anything essentially fall into its being, and once inside The Darkness will be able to completely read your entire mind and trap you in a complex illusion of your own life where everything goes perfectly and you never want to leave. The reason it does this is The Darkness is not evil, it is Lonely and seeks only companionship. This is what it wanted when it first approached the Fairies eons ago, but they stupidly reacted to its scary appearance and attacked it on site, causing it to fight back.

So how does one fight The Darkness? Well the good news for someone trying is The Darkness in its loneliness only seeks to kill something as a last resort, its primary goal is to capture alive and unharmed so in character, the Darkness would not be going all out from the start, giving a counter far more time for their plan of attack then they reasonably should if an entity like this was bloodlusted. As a second note, like any Black Hole, The Darkness sucks in matter to gain energy, but if something causes it to lose energy it will eventually disintegrate, so energy draining is a key thing to use against it. With that in mind, my first counter here would be:

Squirrel Girl:

So first and foremost I think one pretty clear thing that is established to work on The Darkness is befriending the thing, which after looking past its form even a complete Asshole like Timmy was able to do. Someone like Doreen Green, the Squirrel Girl from Marvel, who has a passive Charisma aura that makes various villains' Own Summons turn against them for her, would pretty much instantly pacify this thing. Even if that didn’t work for whatever reason, Doreen is incredibly well equipped to fight this thing, being strong enough to overpower Low Multiverse level Marvel villains like Thanos and Mephisto, and keep up with Ratatoskr who can traverse multiple universe sized realms in seconds putting her slower, but most likely stronger than this thing. Doreen can breathe and survive in the vacuum of space, use jet powered flight, and potentially just overwhelm this beast with an army of ghost squirrels with comparable stats she can call forth at will. Even if engulfed by The Darkness, Doreen has resisted Mind Manipulation from powerful entities like Ratatoskr before and broken free of a nightmare trap created by Nightmare, the concept of dreams himself, which is like what The Darkness does on steroids. She could easily escape from this, and since none of her attacks are energy or magic based, The Darkness’ normal hax defense is simply nonapplicable. But beyond that, Doreen is a beacon of hope and comparison, an empathetic hero who wishes to save everyone and everything, even the villains who she has actually been notably effective at diplomatically getting through to and redeeming. Squirrel Girl is a genius and very perceptive, so I think she’d immediately see through its menacing appearance and get to work at what she does best. So more than anything, Squirrel Girl likely would only need a few minutes to completely remove this thing as a threat peacefully, just like the original story. If she had to actually kill it though, while she is equipped to do so, it likely would take awhile, for a more efficient option.

Flandre Scarlet:

If the Darkness wants to play with someone, Why not set it up with someone who plays a little Rough. Flandre Scarlet is a Vampire from the Touhou Project series, Vampires are established to be the 2nd physically strongest species in Touhou behind only Oni, who have a crapton of feats involving them casually destroying realms far larger than our own universe. Vampires are also the second fastest species in Touhou behind only the Tengu, an in fact Remilia’s own sister was once able to fly around the entire moon and Kick Yorihime in the face before anyone present even saw her move, considering that many of these characters are able to fly Quadrillions of times the speed of light, this level of blitzing Should put the vampires in the Septillions of times Light range, meaning it's actually possible for Flandre to fight this monster directly, especially considering her ability to split herself into 4 duplicates which would make the Darkness keeping up that much more difficult. Flandre has numerous common abilities found in Touhou that would be helpful in taking on The Darkness, including flight, vacuum adaptation, and a mind strong enough to resist seeing the true moon which drove every human on the planet insane, which coupled with her vampire senses mean there is no way for The Darkness to mind manipulate her. As a Vampire, Flandre can regenerate her body from a single hair on her head, to survive any normal attack it manages to land, and while this does come with a weakness to Sunlight…I highly doubt The DARKNESS can capitalize on that. A lot of the common attacks in Touhou would do absolutely nothing to the darkness. If it can absorb the universal reality warping magic of every Fairy at once I don’t think a large spread of magic danmaku projectiles is going to cut it, thankfully she has a way around this. Flandre’s primary power is called the ability to “Destroy Absolutely Anything and Everything” which allows her to summon the ‘Eye’, or conceptual linchpin holding something's existence together into her palm, and crush it in her hand, which erases it from existence, and everything has an Eye. In one scenario of Touhou 17.5, Flandre’s destructive power was able to completely eradicate all of Hell, an Infinitely sized afterlife dimension on at least the physical and astral plane, meaning it certainly has the feats to prove that it can destroy whatever she wants. It was with this power she was able to defeat Yuuma, a beastly youki with the power to absorb any attack that came her way and grow stronger from it, a sage of Gensokyo literally pulling Flandre to Yuuma, knowing that her destructive ability would Bypass this. So yeah, Flandre’s main power could immediately destroy The Darkness, and its magic absorption would absolutely not protect it. But due to her mental instability, I ultimately don’t think Flandre is the BEST suited to defeat The Darkness.

Sailor Saturn:

That honor goes to Sailor Saturn from the Sailor Moon series. Sailor Saturn is very easily one of the strongest Senshi in the entire series, in her Eternal form being casually thousands of times above baseline universe level and capable of moving interplanetary distances in the time it takes other Senshi just to turn around, which should put her into the Quintillions of times the speed of light range. But that's still basically a statue in speed compared to The Darkness, so what’s she even going to do? Well there's two caveats to that, 1. Hotaru’s powers allow her to survive as, continue to fight as, and even regenerate her body from nothing more than her Soul, so even if The Darkness goes all out and blitzes her from the start, there isn’t much it could do to permanently kill her. And 2. Hotaru doesn’t exactly look like much, being a frail teenage goth girl, the Darkness which already doesn’t wish to kill, but capture would certainly not go all out from the start anyway. Hotaru is unbelievably intelligent and wise, able to see the nature of creatures and circumstances, as such she would take one look at this thing and not have any fear at what looks like an intimidating cosmic monster, but understanding of its very nature as a lonely entity ostracized due to others fear of it, something I think they would both relate to. As a Sailor Senshi, Saturn is able to fly and survive in the vacuum of space just fine to encounter this thing, and due to the insane mental manipulation resistances that Senshi possess, even if she does end up consumed by this thing, there is no way it would be able to fool her with it’s mental illusions, allowing her to escape or even attack it from inside. Sailor Saturn is the Senshi of DEATH and has a lot of the most devastating and hax abilities or her kingdoms defenders, including The Silence, a suicide attack which ends All life in the entire universe. While that would certainly kill the Darkness, she also wouldn’t need to go anywhere near that far. But the Darkness is so good at absorbing magical Energy even every fairy at once couldn’t affect it. How's a magical girl supposed to attack this thing?  Well funny you should say that, The Darkness was actually based off of a monster from Sailor Moon, an evil sentient Nebula that absorbs souls and celestial bodies into itself for fuel called Pharaoh 90. This entity had the ability to absorb and nullify any magical energy that was thrown at it, even from the superior Sailor Moon, but because Hotaru utilizes Death, she doesn’t use energy to attack, but Entropy, draining away its lifeforce. This enabled her to absolutely Dominate Pharaoh 90 in front of everybody, and would similarly be the Darkness’s worst nightmare. And That's how to be OP in Fairly Oddparents!
