The Secret Saturdays VS Strategy Guide

Figured with the two back to back Horror blogs, and with 2 more coming down the pipeline, I should try to break it up in the middle with a cartoon. And hey, what better cartoon to build off the Action/Adventure vibs of the newer Mummy movies than The Secret Saturdays! Ya know the show about badass secret scientists, mercenaries and supervillains dealing with Cryptids, Magic and Ancient Civilizations with the fate of the world in the balance? Pretty awesome and Here's how to be OP in it!
Should Mention that While The Secret Saturdays does Officially take place in the Ben 10 Universe, I have decided to make an exception and give it it’s own Guide so as to let this great show stand on its own rather than be lost in the tiers of a larger series it mostly stayed independent from. To compromise I am not permitting myself to use any Ben 10 characters as counters, or Vice Versa when I eventually make one for Ben 10.
Island Tier:
This is where the vast majority of the characters are located, including The Secret Scientists, Villains, Mercenaries and most relevant Cryptids. Characters in this tier are Large Island level, due to numerous feats such as the Amaroks creating a blizzard powerful enough to nearly rip the island of Ellef Ringnes apart, Drew tanking being blasted skyward by a volcanic eruption, and Zon and the Ropen physically sinking an entire Papua New Guinean Island with only a handful of physical strikes. They are also all Massively Hypersonic from feats of dodging lightning and such, so these will be the limits for stats.
So first and foremost, the characters in this tier have Extremely strong secondary stats! Almost every single Character here is simultaneously a scientific/tactical Genius & a super black ops, highly trained fighter with loads of great skill, stealth, stamina and range feats. This is even reflected in the more animalistic cryptids, like Komodo still being able to fly a jet and operate advanced tech despite being a Komodo Dragon. Taking these characters on in a head to head fight is not impossible, but you better be seriously bringing your A-game, as they will not be easy to trounce there.
Going over what abilities they are packing, a Great deal of Cryptids and characters have Super Senses, heck the entire population of Kumari Kandam has Electroreception like sharks, meaning using stealth against this tier is extremely difficult. Numerous characters can fly, climb on walls and use a large amount of elemental attacks including fire, electricity and ice. Komodo can turn invisible, Munya possesses web powers and Naga’s all possess the ability to control and see through snakes.
A lot of Cryptids possess dangerous natural powers, ranging from simple abilities like venom, to esoteric ones like erasing people's eyes. The Owlman has the ability to hypnotise foes with his gaze, Atmospheric Jellyfish are flying electrical logia beings that can merge together to attack, Bunyips can manipulate technology, Blue Tigers can manipulate probability to give its master good luck, and there's also an entire lake full of micro cryptids that can move the water around like a living liquid entity.
This verse also has a LOT of powerful tech within it, Dr. Miranda invented what is quite literally a Portal Gun in just the first episode, and the Saturday Family regularly uses both Cortex and Reflex Disruptors as weapons, which can oneshot characters within this tier and disable their muscles. There's also body swapping and fusing devices, as well as powerful magics including making powerful illusions, and the Smoke Mirror which can be used to BFR people and warp reality in the immediate area.
One of the more dangerous characters here is Eturno, a being composed entirely of Salt, who can regenerate from salt, and transmutate water and anything composed of water to salt with a touch of his hand. There's also the Main Villain, V.V. Argost who has a wide arsenal of cryptid weaponry at his disposal, including swarms of explosive Firecracker Beetles, Flesh eating Blackflies, Devonian Annelids that drain away a creatures essence, Neural Parasites that let him possess anyone it attaches too, Earthquake Beetles to tear things down with geokinesis and Reconstruction Beetles to build objects from scratch in seconds. He also wears a Super durable cloak of megatooth shark skin to be used as a shield and glider, and has several weapons like living slime, grenades that blast out bloodsucking vines that ensnare foes, balls of acidic Mongolian death worm venom and razor-sharp thunderbird feathers to be used as throwing knives.
But the most iconic power in the series belongs to its main character Zak Saturday, Zak has the ability to influence Cryptids, talking to them, tracking them and even entering their mind and controlling them. This has allowed him to call forth small armies of Cryptids and use the environment to defeat foes he normally couldn’t.
So what strategies would be most effective here? Well for one, no Cryptids allowed, Zaks power just flatly puts a stop to that so if you were thinking of a Cryptid VS Cryptid scenario then sorry its not going to fly. But what Are some weaknesses the verse has? Well one weakness I see is a reliance on technology, now this is bad, not necessarily because they need their technology to fight, but because they have an abundance of technology made to fight each other, a good technopathy build could easily damper their arsenals and use it against them. But that's not the most damning thing as a lot of the characters have natural powers. One thing that has consistently proven challenging for the characters is extreme weather situations, most of all Blizzards and extreme cold conditions. This leads me to my first counter..
Blue Knight:
Blue Knight from the Behemoth would be a really well made counter to this tier. Blue Knight is able to violently shake entire mountain ranges with his attacks and dodge around electricity, which would put him on par with the characters in this tier as far as stats are concerned. Blue Knight is an Extremely highly skilled warrior who has successfully defeated large armies of warriors from multiple different regions as well as slayed physically superior giant monsters, making him at least as good, and more likely a notably better fighter than the characters here.
Blue Knight is able to resist Logia and Transmutation which would protect him from Eturno’s hax and the logia characters defense. Not that he needs that a huge amount due to his trademark power, Cryokinesis. Blue Knight’s Ice manipulation is powerful and wide reaching, scaling past the ice powers of the Ice King who could keep his kingdom frozen. Blue Knight can effectively freeze anyone in this verse really quickly in a close range fight, and create bad enough weather conditions that the characters would be hindered and unable to approach him quickly. His Freezing power would let him freeze the Micro Cryptid lake, freeze Eturno to get around his Regen, and freeze the circuits of all their tech.
Blue Knight also has Flight and Teleportation to help incase someone tries to use spatial manipulation to sneak up on him or overwhelm him, also surprisingly enough Blue Knight can talk to cryptids as well, given he was immediately able to befriend a Yeti so that's fun.
That being said Blue Knight is not nearly the genius most of these characters are and could be defeated if they do manage to gang up on him. For a better version of this plan.
Silver Fullbuster:
Silver Fullbuster from Fairy Tail would be VERY OP in this Verse! Silver Fullbuster is able to fight and defeat powerful Fairy Tail members who were Island level MHS at the time, putting him right in the stat range. Silver is an extremely powerful Ice Demon Slayer, able to casually coat entire mountains in ice and freeze every sentient thing in the area. Ice Demon Slayer Ice is EXTREMELY Durable able to freeze mountains of fire and be used to stab through super durable characters. No one in this tier could break or melt it and they would be trapped forever should they get frozen by it and considering the range and casual nature he could use it he would be an Immediate and devastating threat even from outside the range of the characters super senses. Silver also has teleportation and telepathy to prevent himself from being successfully snuck up on.
Silver would be REALLY hard to stop, that said he could be stopped with a carefully made plan by the genius level characters before he reached them. To stop this...
Peridot:
You could use Peridot from the Steven Universe series. Peridot scales to characters like Pearl and Amethyst, both of which are able to battle City level corrupted gems that make whole snowstorms, as well as tank attacks massively above that, these two can also physically dodge lightning, as well as have Reaction Speed of Massively Faster than Light, meaning while not technically faster than the characters here, they would appear in slow motion to her. Peridot’s primary power is Electromagnetism, able to control metal and technology with her mind. Peridot’s Magnetic abilities are so Potent she was able to Impale through the Corrupted Jasper, who is Large island level, meaning that she’d be more than able to use this to stop the characters here. Peridot’s Genius level intellect is flatly Superior to the characters in this tier. She would not only be able to take their tech and use it against them, but make their tech better or quickly construct her own from scratch, meaning that her threat level increases overtime, spelling their eventual defeat. Peridot is able to fly and regenerate from nothing more than the gem on her forehead, and was skilled and tactical enough to escape assaults from Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl time and time again. She also well...Is a Gem, and inorganic rock and light based being, so literally none of the hax this tier has would actually work on her.
Country Tier:
Only one character belongs in this tier, the Ancient unbeatable super cryptid known as Kur. Kur is an ancient prehistoric beast that has been plaguing the world since it first drew breath. Kur is extremely difficult to fight due to it not being a physical entity, but a Spiritual plane entity, which hops from body to body over the millennia, always making sure to be the most dominant species on earth at that time being. Kur’s form back in the earliest days of man was so powerful it could wipe out Entire civilizations and more than proved this as when that was awakened not even the combined efforts of all the characters could bring it down, giving it country level and MHS stats. Kur’s greatest strength is its ability to control Cryptids across a planetary scale, turning the verse’s greatest force into a hive minded attack force to conquer all. It's also got an entire army of Cryptids within itself acting as an immune system, which can attack enemies outside and within and allow it to fly, so it's easy to become outmatched by an invincible Cryptid army when fighting this beast.
While this creature doesn’t have That many abilities at its disposal, it is NOT easy to bring down due to the haxy nature of its existence, allowing it to come back from anything that doesn't attack it on the spiritual plane. In universe it only has one weakness, The Flute of Gilgamesh, a magical instrument able to target and destroy the beast with its music. So what would be effective strategies to stop this monster?
Well it's not easy as being able to attack on the Spiritual plane is a requirement to take him on head to head to stop him. That said it isn't the only means TO stop him, in verse both sealing and existence erasure have proven devastating when used on the monster so going with one of those abilities would certainly be a smart strategy. Past that one should have means to deal with the incoming army, likely meaning having some form of defense or mobility boosting powers would be of serious use.
One example of this is:
Anakaris:
Anakaris from Darkstalkers would totally be able to stop Kur. Anakaris is a 5000 year old Egyptian Pharaoh who developed potent Mummy powers. Anakaris’s power was enough to sink the entire country of Egypt into his own dimension, as well as battle characters who could fly from London to New Orleans in under a minute giving him similar stats. Anakaris has more than the powers to deal with an army of Cryptids, teleportation, attack reflection, telekinesis and ensnarement with his mummy cloths. But the main reason he's a good counter here is his Portal creation ability, this would easily allow him to banish Kur to another plane of existence where he will never escape. Anakaris is very intelligent and able to do this from a very long range so that's basically a good game. That being said, if Kur takes Anakaris by surprise, He could well defeat him. For a Better option.
Breach:
Breach from Generator Rex would be a tough foe, able to fight Rex who is Island level MHS from scaling to some of Ben 10’s aliens. Breach is an incredibly OP EVO in the series known for her potent spatial manipulation abilities. Breach has her own Pocket dimensions that she can banish creatures and objects too with her portals, even including an entire Ohio town. Her portals can be used to defend herself and even have her exit out dimensions to protect herself AND she can use them completely remotely able to attack you with portals from anywhere and without warning. Not only can she EASILY protect herself from Kur and any of his minions but she can easily just banish him to her alternate plane for all time out of nowhere, he wouldn't even know what happened. That said, Breach is only Island level and Could be killed by Kur or his minions if they get the drop on her. For the best possible options.
Tart:
Tart from Madoka Magica would be REALLY potent against this beast. Tart is powerful enough to battle a Witch/Incubator hybrid tough enough to encompass all of France with her power, as well as casually scaling above Madoka’s arrow being able to cross entire countries in seconds, putting her on par in stats. Tart has Fate manipulation, which works essentially as a defense that even an entire army of cryptids would be unable to cross, she's simply fated to win via advanced probability manipulation. Also she has the perfect way to permanently defeat Kur, that being her ability to directly Battle Field Removal him to Hell...which is about as flawless a win condition as you could get to stop that thing.

How They Compare: Eris (Billy & Mandy)

Eris is one of the most powerful characters not only in The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, but in Cartoon Network as a whole. Eris is the greek Goddess of Chaos, and despite living in The Heavens, did most of her childhood and schooling in The Underworld, likely because it’s just the last thing one would expect. Since rejoining the Heavens she has done hard work for her eternal job/hobby of keeping the universe as Chaotic and Crazy as she can.
Eris is incredibly powerful, so much so that literally all Chaos in the universe is generated directly from her, she is also outright comparable or directly superior in power to Grim while he is using his Scythe, as seen when they both empowered humans with insane power to fight to the death and Eris’s quickly won. Grim himself is so powerful he can and has multiple times affected and manipulated the universe or even greater, which would put her at Universal+ power. Grim with his scythe has also empowered Billy to be a superhero, who while in this state was able to fly to a distant galaxy at speeds in the hundreds of billions of times light, as Grim can clearly make himself this fast via this, she scales.
This being said Eris also has the ability to bolster the stats of herself and others, Comparing this directly to Grim’s ability, he once pumped Mandy with so much power she outgrew the universe and entered the multiverse itself where she would continue to expand to infinity. So in Theory, Eris can bolster her stats to potentially infinite strength and speed if need be.
Eris’s most dangerous aspect is her very nature. Eris is not simply a powerful manipulator of Chaos, but the Platonic Concept of Chaos itself. All Chaos in the Billy and Mandy Verse is generated directly from her to the point that when she got into a relationship that made her life more orderly, the universe itself became so unnaturally orderly that it would literally insta-fix any problem that arose by itself. So Long as Chaos exists, so does Eris giving her MAJOR regen and hax resistance, and should Eris somehow be defeated despite this, it would End Chaos, and according to super genius Mandy, without Chaos then Order cannot exist, to destroy her would undo All of Existence.
Eris’s Chaos Manipulation and Goddess Status grants her TONS of divine powers, She is able to fly and teleport herself even to other dimensions. Eris is able to summon forth matter, reverse time, shapeshift into anything, and has a form of cosmic clairvoyance. She can Turn Invisible, use Telekinesis and Transmutation, Mind Control Entire Civilizations, Tear Through the Absolute Plane with her attacks, Duplicate herself and others, and Decay things into Dust with a snap of her fingers. Worst Yet she can Banish people to the Puppet Dimension, which turns whoever enters into a sentient yet powerless felt puppet, the most broken thing about this is it does this not by transmutation but by changing the animation style to puppet show, so it cannot be easily resisted.
She Wields the Golden Apple of Discord, this deadly ancient fruit is the concept of Discord itself. The apple is sentient with a mind and will of its own and it can teleport itself directly to Eris at her leisure, Transform into any object or living thing to perfectly create any chaotic action with the utmost subtly, regenerate itself from being smashed to pieces and even transmutate anything it's used on. It can cause massive natural disasters, Tornados, Floods, Fire-Snows, Plague, Nuclear Explosions and even invasions of Aliens and Mythical Creatures Eris Just Made Up. Best of all it can attack and destroy things on the Absolute Plane, as it was able to consume the Title Card and Music of an Episode. Eris is an ancient and very intelligent entity, that being said she IS batshit crazy so has been able to be manipulated in the past and made incorrect decisions simply because it's chaotic.
Name: Eris: Goddess of Chaos and Discord
Origin: The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
Classification: Greek Goddess
Powers and Abilities: Platonic Conceptual Existence, Stat Boosts, Chaos Manipulation, Flight, Interdimensional Teleportation, Low Godly Regen, Resistance to the Lower 5 planes of hax, Decay Manipulation, Matter Manipulation, Transmutation, Shapeshifting, Limited Clairvoyance, Time Manipulation, Absolute Plane Manipulation, Invisibility, Telekinesis, Mind Control, Duplication, Puppet Dimension, Can Make Disasters and Summon Mythical Creatures.
Weaknesses: Is totally F*cking Crazy.
Destructive Capacity: Universal+, Potentially Infinite via Stat Boosts
Range: InterDimensional
Speed: Massively Faster than Light (Billions), Potentially Infinite via Stat Boosts
Durability: Universal+, Potentially Infinite via Stat Boosts
Stamina: Inexhaustible
Intelligence: Vastly Superhuman (Can match Mandy)

So how would she do in other verses?
DC Comics:
Within DC Comics Eris would be a Crisis Level Entity With Ease, having a very similar state of being to the Actual DC Gods and Goddesses with being a platonic concept. While her Speed and Power would initially be lacking it matters little as most of the most powerful JLA members would struggle to kill her via any means, giving her plenty of time. Even if they could figure out a way to kill her, which is unlikely, the ultimatum of doing so would take the universe with it, would likely put a GIANT wrench in the hero's plan. But the most Dangerous Aspect of Eris in DC is how the Lords of Chaos would React to her existence. The Lords of Chaos would ADORE Eris and undoubtedly help her in any way they could as she represents everything they value in existence. Essentially making Eris a leader figure to a group of entities powerful enough that the likes of Doctor Fate struggles to deal with them.
Darkstalkers:
In the Darkstalkers Series, Eris would essentially be the main villain, comparable in power to the likes of the Full Fledged Anita, but also haxier and harder to kill than previous main villain Jedah Dohma. While a lot of her Haxy abilities can be resisted and countered by top tier fighters, her Puppet Dimensional Trump Card would allow her to one shot almost anything, while she would essentially LOVE this verse for the chaotic nature of two different dimensions fusing together, it would likely be even harder to defeat her here.

Clamp:
Within the CLAMP Multiverse, Eris would be considered a Very high tier Mage, with a hax and power level comparable to the likes of Dimensional Witch Yuuko. That being said, a big speed edge and her powers being Divine rather than Magic means that their level of Magic Resistance would NOT actually be able to protect them from Eris’s power, making her a REALLY dangerous threat even among them. That being said she is not undefeatable in verse, as Top tier mages such as Clow Reed are powerful enough to seal away conceptual entities like her with a thought.
Ben 10:
In the Ben 10 series, Eris would easily be one of the most if not the single most powerful being in the verse, Comparable in power to Celestialsapians but existing on a higher plane than anything that exists within Ben 10. While it is not impossible for her to be defeated it would require making a whole slew of new universal laws and multiple top tiers working together. More likely Eris would quickly win after gaining access to ledger domain or what have you.
Saint Seyia:
Lastly In The Saint Series, Eris would be a massive danger to everyone in the universe. Her power is comparable to some godly entities but her nature as a goddess is unique to only gods WAY above her normal paygrade giving her disproportionate defense. Furthermore her Puppet dimension hax in particular is Not something a lot of characters could resist, even heavy cosmos users. Funnily enough, she'd be very similar in status to the Saint Seyia Version of Eris and she would have an extremely hax based fight against her, essentially being Discord vs Chaos in a manner of speaking.

Death Battle Prediction: Ghostface VS The Fisherman

Ya know I have Always wanted to do a Horror Prediction Blog, and This is sure to be a KILLER of a first one! Since the Invention of the Slasher Genre, the idea of the terrifying stalker killer, cloaked in black and watching from afar, always one step ahead of you as they move in for the kill has been very popular, and here we have two that brought that stereotype into a fine art! Ghostface the Real Life Phone Line Slasher from Scream, and The Fisherman, the Vengeful Urban Legend turned Real from I Know What You Did Last Summer. These two have brought psychological terror up to a new standard, and have more than the body count to prove it, but in a battle between two Predators, who will end up Prey?

Warning: In addition to the Slasher and Spoof elements, both Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer are also very much mystery movies with both Killer’s identities being a major part of the mystery, as such this blog will MASSIVELY Spoil both series, to mitigate this I will refrain from using their real names outside of the background sections, but read at your own risk.

Background:

Ghostface

It all started with a Scream over 911 one year in Woodsboro, California. A teenage girl and her boyfriend were massacred in a brutal scene that looked like something out of a Slasher Movie, as that is exactly what the killer intended. These two were the first in a long line of grizzly murders by the serial killer, Ghostface.
Now there have been 7 different people who have taken up the title of Ghostface, and while all their feats are being considered here today, we will be focusing on the original and best Ghostface, Billy Loomis.
Loomis was an inquisitive high school film student, who in particular loved Scary Movies, to a rather obsessive degree. He loved to break down all the formulas and Cliques and study their meanings. When it came out that Loomis’ Dad had been having an Affair with another woman, causing Billy’s mother to leave them.
Enraged, Loomis went over the edge and became determined to make his own Slasher Movie, In Real Life. Loomis first started dating Sidney, the daughter of the woman who had seduced his father. One year later he Murdered Sidney’s Mother and framed another man for the job.
And finally on the one year anniversary he began his true plan, donning a generic Scream Mask and black robe as the Serial Killer, Ghostface.
Ghostface is a rather meta killer with a flare for the dramatic. His favorite means of committing his murders is to cold call people, ask them about their favorite Scary Movies before scaring the crap out of them with saying how he's watching them, in their home, and going to kill them. Ghostface was able to manipulate practically the entire town of Woodsboro like pawns on a chess board, following the plot of a bloody scary slasher movie to the letter, all leading up to his prime Target, Sidney.
Ghostface’s Plan was to kill everyone including Sidney, stab himself through the torso multiple times in ways he wouldn't die, and leave Sidney’s father with a gunshot wound in his head and all the evidence in his pocket. Making it look like he snapped and killed everyone on the anniversary of his wife's death and then killed himself, with Billy just being a survivor. Able to plan for his ‘Sequel’ because these days, there's always gotta be a sequel.
Ghostface is a deadly principled mastermind fully dedicated to his craft of making a flawless horror movie. He follows all the basic tropes of a horror movie to a T, Virgins don’t get killed, people who drink or have sex die, people who say they will be right back never are, the works. He is a complete and total psychopath and enjoys taunting and playing with his victims so they become as scared as possible before they go down. One of the most interesting things about him is despite having a motive for his actions in Sidney’s mothers cheating ruining his family, he actually hates motives as a troupe due to it making the story less scary. Ghostface as a true chaotic evil rejects the notion that he is doing this for any other reason than he just wants to see the world as messed up as he can make it.
“Well I don't really believe in motives Sid, I mean did Norman Bates have a motive? Did we ever find out why Hannibal Lector liked to eat people? DON'T THINK SO. See it's a lot scarier when there's no motive.”
-Ghostface

Fisherman

One thing common across all cultures is folklore, tall tales passed around at campfires, they’ve been told a million times and have just as many variants. One of the most popular ones in America involves a lunatic killer with a hook for a hand, like all folklore tales it has a million variations, but each one all leads back to some true event it’s based on, this is that true event.
On one 4th of July Evening, in the small coastal town of Southport, North Carolina, Julie James and her friends were out partying, celebrating their last summer before moving to college. After a bonfire on the beach, the group drunkenly drove home on a dark secluded country road overlooking a cliff.
What started as reckless youthful fun turned into horror as they crashed directly into a pedestrian sending him flying dozens of feet into a bloody heap on the side of the road.
Scared that this would ruin their lives forever, the teens opted to dump the body in the ocean and never speak of this again. They committed a lot of crimes that night, manslaughter, hit and run, destroying evidence, but the one rule they broke above all else, When you leave someone for Dead…
Make Sure He’s REALLY DEAD! The man that they hit was a local fisherman named Ben Willis, and he was quite literally the last person you wanted to hit with your car. Decades prior to this, Willis murdered his wife for cheating on him, and on this very night had just killed a man named David Egan for one year prior causing a car accident that killed his daughter Susie. So needless to say he was not a guy who was gonna just let this go.
After miraculously pulling his injured body from the water, he healed up and got to work planning his vengeance, dawning a long dark slicker and a giant hook, it was time for The Fisherman to Go Fishing.
In the days leading up to the anniversary of this he psychologically tortured his targets, it started with threatening notes that simply read “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, but quickly escalated into violent and disfiguring acts.
It all culminated on the 4th of July when The Fisherman went full killing spree on these kids, in the end slaying more than half of them, yet losing his hand in the process. But that’s not going to stop him, he escaped and came after them again, luring Julie and her friend Karla to an Island in the Bahamas to take his revenge, because he does not forget, and he does not forgive.
The Fisherman is one of the more lawful evil slasher villains, the only people he kills are those that personally do him wrong, and those that get in his way of doing so. He also seems to judge people based on their morality, as the person he was most angry at wasn’t Ray, the person who actually hit him, but Julie, the person who protested dumping his body the entire time, but ultimately conceded. The Fisherman’s eye for an eye justice mentality is an absolute and he is very stubborn and relentless in his pursuit of fulfilling it. He did love his children very dearly though it seems, suggesting that he was once an honorable man, who has been grizzled and twisted into an angry cynical state by a life of hardships.
“Are you in trouble child?...That's a shame. Being it's fourth of July and all. Kids like you should be out having fun. Drinking. Partying. Running people over. Getting away with murder. Things like that.”
-The Fisherman

Intelligence/Skill:

Ghostface

Ghostface is extremely intelligent and manipulative. His plan was so detailed as to date Sidney for 2 years ahead of time of his murder spree just to ensure it would be a shocking reveal. Ghostface is smart enough to perfectly manipulate and predict the actions of every single person involved in his victims lives, including their friends and the law enforcements. He is a master of psychological warfare and can set extremely advanced and elaborate traps.
Ghostface is a very skilled combatant, he was able to overpower and kill a professional hollywood bodyguard, as well as go on a rampage attacking 5 people at once, where he killed 3 of them and captured the remaining two.
He has also at multiple points beaten and murdered police officers proving his skills even further. Ghostface is also an extremely stealthy character able to quickly maneuver through crowded areas without being detected and break into homes and even heavily guarded studios.

Fisherman

The Fisherman is smart enough to hack into a karaoke machine, manipulate entire groups of people against each other without actually being there, and make very advanced plans and traps, predicting the actions of everyone involved, he also doesn’t even need to resort to making plans to get away with crimes because he's so good the police never know a crime was committed, and was careful enough to research his targets for a full year before executing his plan.
The Fisherman is extremely skilled at fighting, never actually struggling against any opponent including going on a rampage against 5 people at once, killing police officers and other really good fighters like Barry.
Also he's a master of stealth, able to hide in steam and predict the actions of his foes to sneak around, He can sneak through areas totally undetected, chopped up Helen’s hair while she slept and both planted and removed Max’s body from a car trunk in a suburb in broad daylight without anyone seeing him.

Weapons/Equipment:

Ghostface

  • Buck 120:

Ghostface has an arsenal of equipment perfectly tailored to his unique style of killing. His standard and most trusty killing tool is his modified Buck 120 Hunting Knife. These knives are typically 8 inches long and commonly used in hunting and combat scenarios to produce deep stab wounds and even skin and fillet hunted animals. It is sharp, deadly with slashes and stabs and much more designed for fighting than weapons used by most slasher movie villains who use blades designed cooking or gardening. In the 3rd film Ghostface is established to carry multiple of this type of knife within the sleeves of his costume, and has displayed enough skill with it to accurately use it as a throwing weapon.
  • Vocal Manipulator:

Ghostface is known to create his distinct voice using voice manipulation devices, most of which are simple voice changers he uses to call people on the phone, however in the 3rd film he has a portable voice manipulator which allows him to speak with this voice in person, as well as Mimic the voices of others and throw his voice around the immediate area making him difficult to track.
  • Ballistics Vest:

Lastly, Again in the 3rd film sorry he just clearcut had the best gear there so that's what we are going with, Ghostface wears a Bulletproof Vest under his costume as armor that allows him to take barrages of gunfire to his upper torso without any difficulty.

Fisherman

  • Gaff Hook:

The Fisherman’s arsenal is simple but all too effective, his weapon of choice being a large specialized Gaff Hook, a tool used, funny enough, by fishermen to pull fish large enough to break a fishing rod into a boat, as well as string up large fish weighing hundreds of pounds to weigh and prepare. The Fisherman’s Hook is made of Forged Steel and unlike normal ones that merely have a point, his is sharpened along its interior similar to that of a Krambit curved knife.
And while he used to simply carry one of these as a weapon, after losing his right hand he did what any badass fisherman does and attached it to his arm in place of a hand. Fisherman is skilled enough to stab this hook accurately into someones vital organs for instant kills, as well as use the hook as a surprisingly effective combat weapon. He used the thin blunt side of the hook as a devastating punching and bashing weapon, and the sharp side to slash and stab people, the beauty of that being because its a hook both of those aren’t cutting injuries but Ripping injuries which bleed significantly more and are significantly harder to heal from. He also uses it to hook onto a person's weapons or limbs to disarm or throw them and otherwise control the battlefield, as well as fittingly, string them up and carry them like a fresh caught fish.
  • Slicker:

The Fisherman also wears a spooky black Slicker, Slickers are made of a combination of various materials most notably Gore-Tex and Tyvek. Gore-Tex is a highly flexible and malleable material that can absorb impacts and traps in heat which makes it extremely difficult to see with night or infrared vision. Tyvek on the other hand is a durable waterproof plastic that is resistant to high impacts and tearing though is vulnerable to blades.

Feats:

Ghostface

Strength:
  • Tossed a dead girl straight through a glass door.
  • Beat the shit out of Steve.
  • Easily Smashed through a window.
  • Kicked in a locked door.

  • At one point he Smashed through a car window with the pommel of his knife, Side windows on a car are most commonly made of Tempered Glass, which has a Tensile Strength of 9,427 PSI. This means to have smashed through it Ghostface must have punched with a force of 111,319 Joules.
  • Tossed CiCi off the roof and through a glass door.

  • Stabbed directly through a hard wood door.
  • Tossed a very overweight guy on top of a van.
  • Broke the window of a Van.

Speed:
  • Gutted Steve before a girl could hit a light switch.
  • Hung Casey from a tree in the yard in less than 10 seconds.
  • Disappeared from sight in less than 10 seconds before changing costumes and running back. This would take a normal person roughly 2 minutes, making him 12 times faster.
  • Disappeared from a cop car before Sidney noticed.

Durability:
  • Endured a Car Crash, though it knocked him out.
  • Endured being stabbed like 4 times through the upper torso.
  • Endured being Shot through the torso.

General:
  • So well generalized the Horror formula that he predicted everything that everyone would do.
  • Smashed through a police car window, killed a cop then jumped over the roof and beat the shit out of the other cop before crashing him through a pole.
  • Got the drop on and beat up a professional bodyguard

Fisherman

Strength:
  • Is strong enough to lift and pull full grown men off the ground with one hand on his hook.
  • Overpowered Barry, who endured being smashed through a wall by a speeding car.
  • Knocked Ray out in just a single punch.

  • Smashed through a solid wood trap door. The dimensions of this trap door appear to be 3 feet by 3 feet with a thickness of over an inch, this would give it a volume of 21237.6 cm^3, violently fragmenting it would be 389497.58 Joules of energy
  • Broke a Metal hatch Door Down, he was able to do this by kicking in the door.

Speed:
  • The Fishermen left a man's body covered in a large amount of live crustaceans in Julie’s Trunk, when she discovered it, he somehow came ran to her trunk and stole the body, removed all evidence and escaped before she could simply run upstairs and bring her friends back down again.
  • After murdering Barry, he managed to escape from the Balcony with his body in less than 20 seconds without anyone seeing him. Then was able to intercept Helen’s ride home immediately after. It would take a normal person at least 2 and a half minutes to do all this while weighed down by a body, which makes him about 8 times faster than a normal person.

Durability:
  • Endured being Hit Head on by a car at 40 miles per hour, threw him dozens of feet and heavily dented the car itself. He also Scaled past the durability of Barry, who was able to endure a similar car crash that knocked him through a wall with minor injuries. This would be the equivalent of 293,928 Joules, or about 3/20ths of a pound of TNT exploding.
  • Endured falling through the roof of a building.

General:
  • Somehow didn't Drown after being tossed in the water covered head to toe in injuries.
  • Was able to swim from out in the open ocean against a powerful tide to shore, despite having just had his hand ripped off and losing a lot of blood.

Weaknesses:

Ghostface

Ghostface’s biggest weakness is his own costume, the scream mask and long black robe affect his vision and coordination leading to him falling over on rare occasions, albeit it is possible he is doing this on purpose to draw out the terror and make it more like a horror movie, a theory that holds a lot of weight considering how skilled he is.

Fisherman

The Fisherman is stubborn and has a one track mind of vengeance to a near obsessive degree, and this has lead to him getting tunnel vision and making mistakes leading to him losing even more, including his hand and his son. That being said this normally isn’t a problem as he’s shown to be smart enough to plan out years in advance and has been perfectly capable of dealing with all the side factors.

Battle:

It was a pleasant evening in the San Diego Suburbs, in a secluded home along the shoreway a telephone rang….
“Hello?” said Karla as she answered the phone.
“Hello, Karla..” Replied an eerie yet somehow alluring voice.
“Um, yeah who is this?”
“Oh just a concerned good samaritan….with the murders and all it’s starting to feel like some kind of horror movie around here…”
“Oh don’t you be pulling that Halloween Shit with me! First your notes now this? If you call me again I’m calling the cops!”
“Notes? What are you talking ab…” The voice was cut off by Karla hanging up.
“Asshole” she said in a huff, at that very moment, a spinning metal coin was heard coming from her closet, stopping her dead.
With a chill down her spine, Karla slowly turned around to face the door, reaching for it, it was suddenly smashed open by a large dark figure with a Hook for a hand.
Karla fell backwards and screamed as he stepped out from the doorway. “You!” she called before running from the room in terror, going round the hall into another room and slamming the door.
“Boo” She heard behind her. As she turned around to see Ghostface brandishing a knife.
The Fisherman walked out from the room, in just enough time to see a bloodied Karla tossed out from a room down the hall and Ghostface step out.
“What The?” Ghostface said, The Fisherman looked down at his stolen vengeance lying on the floor and stared back at Ghostface, his hidden face emanating a burning intensity.
FIGHT!
The Fisherman walked forward brandishing his Hook toward Ghostface.
“Oh, Scary” Ghostface Mocked as Fisherman threw a powerful punch with his hook. Ghostface dodged out of the way as the hook broke through the drywall behind him. Thinking fast, Ghostface grabbed the door behind him and swung it into The Fisherman’s face knocking him back.
Fisherman ripped his hook out from the wall and kicked the door away, but Ghostface had disappeared, the ladder to the attic was down. Cautiously The Fisherman walked up the attic ladder only to see the doors to the attic were swung wide open. He walked to the doorway to investigate.
“Karla, I’m Here, what's going on?” he heard the voice of Julie James call from downstairs. The Fisherman turned around, from the doorway behind him Ghostface jumped down from above the door frame and Grabbed the Fisherman suddenly, violently throwing him through the Wood Balcony rail and off the roof.
The Fisherman crashed hard on the ground flat on his back and lay motionless in the yard. Ghostface held up his hand to reveal a Vocal Manipulator and said in Julie's voice “No surprise Guests pal”
Ghostface walked out down stairs and out the front door, he looked into the yard to the Fisherman’s corpse which….wasn’t there.
Ghostface was suddenly grabbed by his collar and thrown face first into a tree, falling onto his back as The Fisherman walked around and stood over the dazed killer. He raised his Hook and swung it down in a damning arc, but Ghostface hops up and dodges at the last second, The Fisherman’s Hook getting jammed into the concrete.
As he struggled to pull it out Ghostface ran up and Kicked him hard, ripping the hook out of the ground and making him stumble back. Ghostface pulled out his Knife, and a 2nd Knife from his sleeve. “Well, Looks like my Slasher Scenario has gone into Crossover VS” He said. The Fisherman was not amused, he runs up to Ghostface and throws a slash with his hook, Ghostface easily leaned his head back and dodged, and then came forward and headbutted the Fisherman. Ghostface slashed into the side of his slicker but did not draw blood, he stabbed at him with his other knife, but The Fisherman dodged out of the way and elbowed Ghostface back. Several feet towards the cliffside.
The Fisherman moved towards his position and threw a stab with his hook hand, but Ghostface hopped backwards out of the way. Ghostface took several slashes with his knives but The Fisherman simply backed out of range of them towards the cliff edge.
The Fisherman slashed at Ghostface with his hook, Ghostface hopped backwards to avoid it, but to his surprise, the hook caught the long sleeve of Ghostface's robe and The Fisherman in a fluid motion wrapped it around Ghostface's arms and pulled down, "Oh Shit!" Ghostface called, as he was throw off balance with his arms tangled.
Fisherman raised his left hand and delivered a powerful Punch to his face causing Blood to splash out from his mask and Ghostface to groan in pain. Fisherman then grabbed his leg and tossed Ghostface over the hillside, the fabric of his sleeve tore off on the hook as he was freed and sent tumbling down the bumpy grass face to the streets below.
The Fisherman climbed down after him but miraculously he was gone by the time he got there. He looked around, searching for any evidence as to where he might have gone. Suddenly a knife was hurlled through the air from the shadows, with barely any time to react The Fisherman raised his arm and blocked the knife, it stabbing deep into his right forearm as he took a knee and groaned.
An ominous laugh was heard echoing through the streets, seeming to be coming from everywhere, "Whats the matter Ahab? You look like you've seen a Ghost..." the voice taunted.
The Fisherman reached over with his other hand and pulled the knife out of his arm, tossing it to the ground as he stood up.
"Ha, you think yourself a killer boy....but you're just some wannabe, copying what he sees in the movies...You don't have the guts to kill someone by your own rules, Thats MY Job." The Fisherman said in a gruff voice as he stepped under the streetlight.
"Oh for Fucks Sake, another out of touch geezer, trying to blame all the worlds problems on Media. Let me Tell you something Fucker, Horror Movies Don't Make Psychos!"
"Horror Movies Make Psychos....MORE CREATIVE!"
The Fisherman Cries out in Pain as suddenly Ghostface's arm reaches out from the Storm Drain Behind him and stabs him straight through the knee and blood leaks over the ground. "Take this Georgie!"
"ARRG!" Fisherman screams as he turns around and kicks at the arm, but Ghostface is too fast and stabs him through the foot. Fisherman kicks him square in the face and Ghostface falls down as the Fisherman clutches his leg.
Quickly getting up, Ghostface runs to the manhole cover in the middle of the street and pops out, but to his surprise the Fisherman is gone, there was however a blood trail, Ghostface followed it, it went past his position over too the darkness, but then back into the street into an open Manhole cover....
"...Oh" Ghostface was suddenly grabbed by the ankles and violently pulled back underground into the sewer, and the fisherman started violently smashing him into the walls. Ghostface Slashes into his side to gain some distance, as the Fisherman takes his Hook Hand and Punches Ghostface as hard as he can in the gut, However the Ballistics' vest absorbs the blow and Ghostface slashes The Fisherman in the side of the face drawing blood.
Fisherman in response lifts his leg up and Stomps on Ghostface's knee, fracturing his ankle.
"Ahh!" he calls before being grabbed by the throat as The Fisherman delivers an uppercut with the blunt side of his hook, echoing through the metal and breaking Ghostface's cheekbone as he fell back against the wall in a heap.
"Ha...not bad....but I think...you're all washed up..." Ghostface said as suddenly he reached the safety valve and switched it, causing a massive flow of storm water to be released and smash into them with tremendous force, sweeping the two out to sea.
...
On a misty dock on the Pacific coast, Ghostface crawled up, sparks flew from his destroyed Vocal manipulator, his mask was shredded, as he looked to the side, he saw The Fisherman's Hat floating in the water and smirked.
Suddenly the Wood further down the Dock broke to pieces as the Fisherman popped his exposed head out. "Oh you have got to be kidding" Ghostface said, now in his normal voice as the two got to their feet.
"No where to run now." The Fisherman called brandishing his hook.
Ghostface Runs forward for a stab, but The Fisherman grabs his arm and punches him in the gut again to no effect. Taking advantage of the fail, Ghostface steps on a loose plank and it Wacks The Fisherman in the face making him stumble backwards.
Ghostface ceases the opportunity and runs in for a Full Stab, with no time to dodge or Block, The Fisherman turns to the left so the knife stabs into not his Heart but his left Shoulder, disabling his arm, but that doesn't slow him down as he Headbutts Ghostface, causing him to lose his Knife, and he swings his Hook forward, Stabbing Ghostface Right Through the Bulletproof vest, and Lifts him off the ground with one hand.
In tremendous Pain, Ghostface Spits Blood into The Fisherman's eye and Kicks himself off the Hook, landing on the dock with a hard thud, as he tries to crawl away.
The Fisherman walks over and steps on his back. "You played a good game boy, but the game is finished, now you die." And with that, the Fisherman puts his Hook around Ghostface's Neck and Twists his arm until it Breaks his Neck.
He then kicks the body off the dock where it sinks into the black waves.
KO!

Results:

Welp, That was Brutal. This was an extremely close fight where Neither combatant had a totally solid advantage in anything, so the small differences were what really mattered in determining the outcome, especially in terms of stats and secondary stats.
Looking at their greatest Strength Feats, The Fisherman had the advantage, with violently fragmenting that hatch door being nearly triple the force of Ghostface shattering that car window. Even if you take a closer look at their other feats, The Fisherman’s were generally either equal or more impressive, Ghostface kicked down wood doors, but he kicked down a metal one, etc. This was similar in terms of Durability, as Ghostface has never endured being hit by anything as high as The Fisherman surviving that car crash without any crippling injuries, and that puts him higher than Ghostface’s physical strikes as well. Now Ghostface has higher endurance sure, but endurance isn’t nearly as good as raw durability in any situation.
Speedwise it's a different story as Ghostface is about 1.5 times faster than The Fisherman so he would be able to dodge attacks more easily, that being said this speed advantage is certainly not big enough for him to be blitzing, so if he gets into close range with The Fisherman he would still be in a lot of danger fighting a stronger opponent.
To talk about Armor, Ghostface wears a Ballistic Vest, which sounds like it would be extremely helpful in this battle but in actuality that vest would do Nothing to protect against The Fisherman. Essentially Bullet Proof does not mean Stab Proof, Kevlar Vests work by distributing the impact of the bullet around the entirety of the structure, lowering its kinetic energy to the point it can’t pass through. This is the opposite of what one should do when faced with a stab from a blade, as stab proof vests instead bunch up and harden in the single point of impact catching the blade. The principle is similar to how Bullets don’t work in water, but knives do, stabbing through a bulletproof vest isn’t EASY per say, but it does not require superhuman strength to do either and the Fisherman clearly would be able to.
The Fisherman actually was wearing better armor for this fight as Slickers partly are made of Gore-Tex which would absorb energy and be very difficult to slash through.
In terms of secondary stats these two REALLY Scrapped, especially in the categories of Intelligence, Skill and Stealth, where they were so similar there was no real point in giving one side the edge cause it would be too small to make a difference. Ghostface had superior Range, but this was merely because he can throw knives, he's got one spare knife for ammo and if he does it twice he could wind up unarmed and that is a bad situation. Actually a lot of Ghostface’s Strategy would be on one off tricks like this, like fooling The Fisherman with the voice manipulator, something that would only work Once.
The Fisherman’s strategy is much more straightforward, and it's clearly shown with his large advantage in Stamina, Ghostface will become exhausted FAR more quickly, meaning the more drawn out Ghostface takes this, the harder it's going to get.
It is for this reason, among others that despite Ghostface having more than the ability to win, I feel The Fisherman takes it at least 65% of the time via drawing the fight out, luring Ghostface in close combat and overpowering him. In this battle of killers, Fisherman’s experience trumped Ghostface Hook, Line and Sinker.
The Winner is The Fisherman...
